I would say 54s. And with a little bit of downsizing even 52s possible..What other bikes you have had in what size?

56,58,60 . I ride all that sizes without any issue or problems.
I am 184cm and ride usually 56, which is similar to 52s with Colnago. 52s Colnago has quite a good stack, I have it with 100mm stem. 54s would be too big for me. You s
are a bit taller so 54s may be good size for you (or even 52s with longer stem if the stack is ok for you), I would be really really surprised if you are ok with 56s. It would be like 60 from other manufacturers...why having such a big size?

Colnago V3RS ride impressions vs Colnago C60 which I own?
Or Cipollini NK1K

Also how good / enjoyable are Deda Alanera bars.
I tried aero bars once and I did not liked it. I did not like problem that you cant rotate bars inside stem and tweak drop bars position . You simply need to get what it is...
My favorite combo is regular carbon handlebar like Deda SuperZero with Deda stem.

Also doesn't mention anything about the rider that's got 30mm of spacers under the stem may not help.
I also remember with surfboard rental people bringing things back saying they barely used them but having mashed them up by overtightening roof straps or just dropping them on the floor when they are done

Ok so with 30mm of spacers, you find it normal ?Tifosiphil wrote: ↑Mon Nov 08, 2021 1:46 pmAlso doesn't mention anything about the rider that's got 30mm of spacers under the stem may not help.
I have 30mm and I think it's not unusual to ride like that and I expect my bike to be rock solid when I brake !

The more spacers you have and the longer the stem you have the more leverage you will have on the front end of your bike. Not sure if it's the same anymore but their used to be a max stack height per stem length some brands used to adviseBb13 wrote: ↑Mon Nov 08, 2021 2:05 pmOk so with 30mm of spacers, you find it normal ?Tifosiphil wrote: ↑Mon Nov 08, 2021 1:46 pmAlso doesn't mention anything about the rider that's got 30mm of spacers under the stem may not help.

Emergency braking? More likely emergency braking into a fixed object or possibly the side of a car. As for the spacers, add in the headset cover and it seems more like 50-mm stack under the stem, which should not be an issue for newer models with D-shaped steerer tubes, but that does not look like a newer model.

Maybe a crash as you said.
But spacers definitely not an option.
And by the way it's a pretty new model, it's a v3. It should be disc'proof ! That's why it's an accident or a weakness of this frame not the model in general

We can’t know what happened, but it for sure had nothing to do with disc brakes
