Is that a Testers Launch Party or something, where the swag bag came with complete kits for each person? I haven’t been following the V3... is it launched already or just about to be?

Usually at most if not all launch event the brand will ask the journo to wear the same kit. Let's see if this Colnago offers anything different than the rest of the newly launched dropped stay semi aero climbing bike.

This might be the Italo-hipsters' "beard only" launch event, presenting the "not soooo dropped seatstays semi aero climber's bike"...

But why would the same guys show up for Colnago and Scott launch events? Actually, the Colnago event in question seems to be a The Rake photoshoot to sell their kit.

Calnago no it isn't launched yet. I guess we'll see its launch just before the TDF.
And it isn't a launch event. Looks like some promo ride:

Note there are mostly C64 and I think also some V2-r on those photos. They probably had an opportunity to test ride the V3-rs there...
The Rake spells mass infiltration of #menswear insta cyclists- next step is to host a pop up at Pitti Uomo.

Someone at Colnago must be an Audi fan - first that "audi nardo grey" colour scheme (Concept), now the "RS" naming.

I asked my LBS about V3r today and the owner told me that he thought the frame would be for wireless group sets. The prices he had received were for frames built up with sram eTap only.

That would be really weird if they went that way and ditched not only mechanical groupsets, but also wired electronic ones. Pro teams such as UAE and Gazprom ride these frames (currently predominantly V2-r) with Campy groupsets and that would cut them off completely. Doesn't really make a sense.
