Brake pads: sram vs shimano

Hi, i ordered these zipp cork pads for stam/shimano... bit the back is different than the pads on the bike (ee brakes).

Are sram vs shimano different?

Am i good to shave thrm as with the other pads for fitment?

Both sram and shimano use a small screw at the same position for the normal mount brake, but the front DM of shimano has a screw at another side, that's why shimano's pad has two grooves.

Just do it.

Ee brakes use no screw. But they have a raised region on the inside the slots into the horizontal groves. So the pads need modification.

I know that structure because I'm using G3 DM EE. It's easy to modify the pads.
