Just in case, this bike is only compatible with Shimano's latest generation mechanical, not Campy, not Sram. The derailleur (R8000 & R9000) needs to have a housing stop since there's no stop for the housing on the frame. You'll basically need to run full housing all the way to the derailleur.
Thanks for the help @Beancouter, dannywin42 and Andres!
Im running Shimano Duraace 9120, so it should work. Im unsure about the housing stop. I have a plastic cover for the hole, but theres no space for a housing to fit through, only for the cable. I used the cover with the bigger hole for the front brake in the fork. Perhaps someone could make a photo? That would be useful.
For the bars: The hydraulic cables do go in pretty easy (as far as easy even exists in internal cable routing :noidea: ). The shifterhouses are more difficult, but its doable and the frame just is so nice that its worth the hassle

I'm looking for a new seat post without setback for my Addict RC 20. Are there any options that fit or is it only Syncros Duncan Aero SL?

Only OEM Syncros based on my research. I wasn’t terribly excited in paying nearly £200 for a zero offset!

Darimo is planning one but no idea on timeframes

That is super light for an integrated option. A shame you can't fit these to other bikes

My Syncros bars, the original design, are 440 g!

Hey folks,

I'm new here but wonder if you could help me out with sizing choice for new Addict please? I'm thinking of ordering a Pro but unsure whether I need a M or a L.

I'm 174cm tall but my inseam is a ridiculous 86.5cm.

My current saddle height is 80.1cm, which I believe would be on the absolute limit for the M frame - can anyone confirm please?

Assuming that's correct, the saddle to bar drop would be quite extreme and require most/all 4cm of the available spacers - which makes me think the L would be better. Obviously this would mean the reach would be longer. I note that the minimum stem length is 90mm.

For reference, my current bike is a 56cm Mason Definition with a reach of 388 (plus a 90mm stem) and stack of 580. This is my three season bike so am happy to have a more aggressive riding position for the summer months. Would a L be ok for me or would I be super stretched?

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers
Tom

I am 173cm and I bought a S. I think that the L is very big.

I am 183 and run a saddle height (from centre of BB) of 78. My addict is a L - with a 110cm stem.i couldn’t use a smaller frame as the bar drop would be massive and spacers are ugly!!

Is this correct? The saddle height sounds excessive for your inseam.

My inseam is the same as yours and saddle height is 76cm. I have been professionally fitted.

Yeah. Check your measures again. Unbelievable the number of times I measured my bike just to measure it wrong... :noidea: :noidea:

As for the fit, based on your height the M for sure and OK with the shortest stem available. After that you can have the zero offset seatpost and push that saddle front.

I'm 182 and on a M, the L was too high stack for me. That being said it sounds like the poster asking the Q on size is all legs so its probably worth seeking out a bike shop with one of each size and having a test ride

I'm 180 and went for the L. Still dont have it. I hope I didn't screw up the size. According to the fitter I have a slightly longer legs to torso. He said I was in between sizes but my goal was to go full or almost fully stemmed with the L (something would be impossible with the M). The M's shorter reach would be nice on the other hand.

Question for any Di2 addict owners, how is the battery held in the seatpost? Cheers

Thanks for all the replies. The inseam was measured by my wife, but all other measurements are from my bike fitter, so am confident they are accurate. I have compared bike measurements to my last bike fit too and all within tolerance.

I'm certain that the M would be for me, based solely on my height and arm length, but since my legs are so long in comparison to my torso, my understanding is that I would either need a saddle height too high for the M (just) and/or the excessive saddle height would make the saddle to bar drop too much or require a lot of spacers.

With this in mind, do you think I would be too stretched out on the L? I'm new to bike sizing so can't work it out, but my calculations are as below:

- The reach on my bike is 388.3, compared to 395 on the L Addict RC (6.7mm shorter).
- The effective (horizontal) top tube on my bike is 561.1, compared to 565 on the L Addict (3.9mm shorter)

By these calculations, I think, even with a 90mm stem (as on my current bike), the L would stretch me out 10.6mm more than my current bike- is that right?

The Scott website lists a measurement of 'REACH CENTRE BAR' but doesn't say what this is - the funny shaped bars make it hard to work out, as doesn't seem to correspond to reach plus stem length?!

Thanks folks.

Reach to. Centre bar is from retul bike fit for instance. If you do a retul on your existing bike they will give you a "reach centre bar" number. What about your seatpost offset? What about the reach of your current handlebar?
