Moderator: robbosmans
Same one that i ordered with my addict, apparently the bike shop ordered a pair so i'll ask them if it's available as i'm picking my bike up sometime this week
This is My Ride Perth Central so you can give them a ring to ask too

Spoke to My Ride Perth Central. Apparently the "pair" (as in one set, not two sets) they ordered was for Signal's bike so they're out of stock. The distributor in Australia won't have stock until late August at the earliest. Seems they're pretty much out of stock worldwide

Looking for a bit of help. I've managed to scratch my Scott Addict RC 30 (in prism green/purple matte color) in a couple of places (chainstay from shoe rubbing against it, seat tube is the other place). I am quite careful with my bike, but this matte finish seems to be very prone to scratches. Here are the scratches on the seat tube:
From my limited knowledge about matte finishes, there's no buffing it out. What are my other options to make them at least less visible, if not completely getting rid of them? The scratches are not overly obvious, but they do bug the hell out of me (bike is couple of months old). OCD is kicking in hard.

You could just fill it with clear nail polish and that would help minimize the glare of the "white" edges.

Thanks for everyones contributions in this thread. It's been really helpful in building up my bike. I've just one more thing left to buy. Can anyone confirm for me what bolts I need for fitting Dura Ace R9170 disc calipers on to a 2020 Ultimate RC team edition frame please?
Am I right in thinking it's one of these;

and three of these;

If not, where can I find the correct ones?
Thanks again for the help.

It depends on rotor size, viewtopic.php?t=152493gdf wrote: ↑Sun May 02, 2021 8:17 pmThanks for everyones contributions in this thread. It's been really helpful in building up my bike. FALSE. In case of flat mount brakes, bigger rotor is accomodated via caliper adapter, on which caliper is offset with a separate set of bolts (so that 2+2 bolts go through the adapter). If the caliper adapter would be used just as a shim (as your post would suggest), then the pads would not fully face the rotor.
Ironically, the post you quoted says nothing about how it depends on rotor size.
Yes, those are correct.gdf wrote: ↑Sun May 02, 2021 8:17 pmThanks for everyones contributions in this thread. It's been really helpful in building up my bike. I've just one more thing left to buy. You Sir appear to have no idea of Irony, were you instructed by Alanis Morissette? I merely posted a link to how you can measure which length bolts are suggested by Shimano.ddddd1 wrote: ↑Sun May 02, 2021 10:20 pmFALSE. If you fit a larger 160mm rear disc the kit comes with two spacers which are not necessary if shorter bolts are used. And if you are not substituting standard steel bolts for titanium should you even be posting on weightweenies? I bid you a good day.
Just confirming more or less what everyone is saying. Yes, the bolts you've suggested are correct.
As standard, the Addict comes with 160mm rotors front and rear.
At the rear, the caliper is fitted with an adapter plate, and the bolts actually thread into this. The same bolts also come with two thick washers under the heads of the bolts.
If you swap for a 140mm rotor at the rear, you remove both the adapter plate and the thick washers, and the same bolts thread directly into the caliper. Pics below show my bike before and after swapping to 140mm rotors.

Ah, sorry. The amount of idiocy I've seen on the internet (and many times I thought it's just irony, oftentimes it turned out it wasn't) prevents me from recognizing irony.mikemelbrooks wrote: ↑Sun May 02, 2021 11:25 pmYou Sir appear to have no idea of Irony, were you instructed by Alanis Morissette? However, should you be posting on weighweenies, if you don't fit rotor that is as small as possible?
