I'm not actually looking to change to a different stem, I thought to just get the same IC RR in 120mm. What I was asking was if any other bar that has a hole in the middle like FSA ACR bars will fit with the IC RR stem.
My mate has the Prime aero handlebar on his RC30, it has opening in the middle like the FSA

Anyone has any idea what this metal plate next to the BB is for?

I need to put a magnet for the power meter and was wondering if this would be a good spot since it's metal

56mm deep, 23mm internal with 28mm tyres - plenty of room...

I have Roval Rapide CLX on mine (51/60 deep). Front wheel is 35mm wide and with a 28mm tyre there is still plenty clearance. There are some pics a few pages back in this thread. Bike is bright red
Thanks. Deep wheels really make it look much better imo.

This is the only pic I found of this stem with a different bar. It's obviously also Syncros original but it's carbon. Anyone know which bars those are?

That is one of the original pre-production bars. The weird carbon finish is because it was a wet layup prototype.
I see. It's strange that they never came out with some sort of carbon option for the IC RR stem. It's either a 70 euro alloy bar or the IC SL for 600 euros.

That's great news. I didn't know if the holes match up, I mean if they are in the same place. I'd happily get the Prime since it's cheap and has a nice clean look. That means the new Fsa bars match as well, and probably others as well. If I get Fsa bars wich have 80mm reach, then I don't even have to change the stem to 120mm.

I have the 2021 rc 15, and I have ordered the 2022 rc 15 which comes with a carbon handlebar according to the specs: Syncros Creston 1.0 Compact Carbon. The 2021 model did not come with that. This will probably take a long time to order though, but I'm pretty sure you can use any handlebar with a big enough hole at the stem clamp location. You don't need to cut the steerer to lower it btw, but you need to remove the covers on the stem then and that's pretty ugly.

I just saw that 1.0 bar on the new Addicts, that's interesting. How does the new Addict 20 weigh 8,05kg with the exact same spec as the 2021 Addict 20, when the latter is supposed to be 7,9kg? I haven't weighed mine but I don't believe it is only 7,9kg.

That's what I planned to do, to ride without the cover until I know the right height. Even though I do have the exact measurements from the ground to the bars from my old bike. It's still best to be on the safe side.

@SIGNAL Do you know what kind of computer mount your friend is running with the Prime bar? I measured the stem clamp width at the handlebar to be 52mm. That's pretty wide, so I'm afraid there might not be enough space for my Barfly mount. I run a Wahoo Bolt on top and also a Cycliq fly 12 CE on the bottom, with a Gopro connection on the bottom for the camera.

I am aware of the original mount from Scott which fits on the stem directly, but there is no info if it is possible to have a Gopro mount underneath.

Was watching this video from 2019 and spotted this, which looks like a magnet on the metal area.

I'm a bit torn on which handlebar setup to get. It turns out I'm gonna need more like 1,5-2cm longer reach and not just 1 like I thought. So I still have to buy a 120mm stem regardles of getting bars with 80mm reach. So the cost for bar and stem would approach the price of IC SL.

I am starting to consider the IC SL in 400/120, but right now they are also hard to find. Farsports is an option but I haven't seen any pictures of how good they actually look on the bike apart from the 1 pic they have on their site.

Can anyone confirm what the actual width measurements are of the IC SL bars? Is the 40 bar 40 on the drops and narrower at the hoods or is the specified size of the bars measured up top?

Also, does anyone have the Farsports F1 on their Addict? Do they work well with the bike. I read the papers that came with the bike, and they say not to use anything else other than Syncros.

Regarding the ic sl I've already told you. If you order a 40cm bar it'll be 40cm at the hoods, 41.8cm at the drops.

You will probably not want this handlebar, since you need more reach but hey at least it's available :noidea: :

Oh ok sorry. I found your post now that I looked back. Must have missed it. That's what I suspected, thanks.

I just ordered the new Vision Metron bar with the ACR. It's supposed to be for Di2 as I understand. But they do use the ACR system to internally route hydraulic cables through the same hole, I suppose. They also claim they have extra wide hole openings, but I don't know if they mean the hole in the middle or the exit and semi integrated option holes.

After a ton of measuring, I came to the conclusion that 1,5 cm extra reach is what I need. So I thought to give it a go with the FSA bar that has 80mm reach vs 70mm original, and try it at first without switching to a 120mm stem. That puts me 5mm back from where I want to be but I can always just change the stem later, without removing any cables.

I actually found that bar on Westbrookcycles.co.uk. They seem to have it in stock, or so they claim.

It's not that I don't want it, but as you say, the sizing works more in favour of longer reach bars. I also already had the Vision 4D on my Reacto, and like the shape of it.So I hope it fits.

I'm selling my 2020 Addict RC Pro Frame, IC SL Bar and Seatpost. I'm located in the USA so PM me if interested. I bought a F12 Frame to replace the Addict which has been a great bike but I'm a sucker for Dogmas.

It was like I suspected, no way this bike weighs 7,9-7,95kg as I've seen claimed on different sites. Right now, the new 2022 Addict 20 RC is supposed to be 8,05kg with the exact same spec as the 2021. That seems to be about right for mine as well, mine might even be heavier than that.

I measured it with Speedplay Zero Chromo pedals and a bottle cage that I assume is 30-40g. I get 8,370 with that setup. That should leave the bike at 8,1kg or more. Maybe my scale isn't 100%, I don't know.

Now I calculated around 420 g savings going to 25 tires, lighter wheels, latex tubes and the new handlebar. I also have an opportunity to get a lightly used Red crankset with Quarq power for about the same price a quarq Sram Force pm would cost+the sale of my existing Force cranks. Which would save me another 150g I beleive. The only problem being that it's a 50/37 and I would rather keep 48/35 and switch to 10-28 instead of the original 10-33.

I would rather the new Speedplay power pedals when they come out. But who knows how expensive they will be and when they'll be out. While the Force PM is only 400 euros.
