More news. My LBS talked with Scott distributor in Spain after receiving some customer compliants (including me) and they says that these prices are temporary yet, the brand decided to release an earlier catalog because of the LBS claims, but prices are subject to changes... so we will see...

But honestly, I don't think final prices drop too much

2700e on the pro is a price hike nonetheless. The bars were never included.

we bought a frameset at $3k. it was a decent value. after weighing it, building it, and dealing with Scott in general, any more than $3K USD and i would go with an Orbea Orca OMX or new Tarmac or Parlee RZ7 instead...or stretch for the Willier Zero. at $4K (plus $600 proprietary bars & comp mount), this is just not a good value in my humble opinion.

Yeah... It really depends on location I guess. For me it was between a 2.3k euro for the frame vs very close to 4k euro for the tarmac frame. Not really comparable.

agreed. tarmacs are on the expensive side much of the time. orca omx is a better analogue. 3500 frame w/stem. good Worldwide support and decent availability. intuitive cabling system, competitive weight, customizable finishes.

Shame on Scott for 1000 Euro more for the same Frameset
Giant Advanced Sl or Canyon is a good alternative

-3x 35mm Caliper fixing bolt
-1x 30mm Caliper fixing bolt
I'm in the middle of building my new bike and unfortunately I discovered that I don't have caliper adapter for 160mm rotor (I thought I have a spare one from my old bike). Are these bolt lenghts for rear caliper with adapter or without?

I changed from the normal to integrated bars, and measured heights to the underside of the middle of the bars, before and after. As best as I could tell with my tape measue, there was no difference in height.
Ok thank you, Stupidly I have cut my Addict RC20 steerer 10mm too short. Was hoping the integrated bars would be lower to avoid having to buy a new fork. Any other alternatives other than crawling back to my LBS with my tail between my legs and buying a new fork for £360

Well, no surprise there, but I thought Shimano would supply it with the caliper. Oh, and it would be nice if Scott published at least some useful info in the manual, like caliper bolts lenghts or recommended torques, instead of bs that is obvious to everyone. Instead people have to find out everything on the forums.
