Nice. Love that color. You lost like 2kg and I'm fighting to lose 100g.Image
Thanks roadbiker. As for those edges, i'd just take a lil sandpaper or a mini file and round those square edges both outside and inside and then use some clear nail polish or super glue to coat the newly rounded edges.

Thanks, I might try that. It's just that I have a tendency to make things worse whenever I try to do something myself.🙂But thanks for the advice.

I got my 5mm aero sl from bike24 but it looks like all they have is the 20mm currently.

Yeah they only had one 20mm when I last looked. Got my SL 20mm version courtesy of @Geoff though, as my 5mm Duncan 1.0 didn't work for me fit wise. So I have a 5mm available, if someone needs one.

If anyone was looking for a size M frameset, you can probably pick this one up at a pretty good price.

In an accident (other cyclist suddenly turned left) I crashed my bike, my recently bought (7m) Scott Addict RC 15. Result: a separated shoulder and broken collarbone. Also my bike did not come unharmed. Besides a number of scratches my top tube now has a crack in the top tube, see image below.

Has anybody experienced this and/or know what to do? I don't feel very comfortable riding this frame again, when I am able to in a few months. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Carbon repair shop is one way to go. Another one is to try a crash replacement discount from scott.

Do you think after repair it will look as original (i.e. you can't see it was repaired), given the Onyx Black has the speckles on the side and is clear/transparent (seeing the carbon) on the top? What would a crash replacement look like (% discount)?

That you have to see with either the carbon repair shop or the scott dealer.

Does anyone know with which crank lengths the differenct Addict RC sizes come? I am especially interested in L and XL. Unfortunately, I can't find that information anywhere in any geometry table...

I am currently building up an Addict RC Pro frame in size L (56). I have all ULT R8100 parts here except the crankset and the RD. Crank length 175mm would be available in 52/36, but 172.5mm not. My 2014 Canyon Ultimate CF SLX in size L came with 172.5mm installed. Now the Ultimate CF SLX in size L comes with 175mm installed (+ the frame is sligthly bigger the the older model). I guess with 187cm height, 90 cm inseam I could probably go for 175mm... all my bikes right now have 172.5mm, but probably 175mm could even be better for my long legs? I am just curious which crank length an "out of the box" Addict RC comes with

The L 56 comes with 172.5 as standard

Thanks

Edit: Decided to try the 175mm crankset anyway  could work out fine with 90/91cm inseam. Most formulas for calculating the crank length would even suggest a 177.5mm for me

I have been looking for a while as well and just found something:https://www.bikefunn.com/roadbike/2022/ ... raDi2.html. It's the black version and in japan, but it's something. I have the komodo green version on order and that was supposed to arrive at the end of november. The arrival date is now next end of next week, but the lbs says that doesn't mean much. The pictures do look awesome and I'm sure it will be worth the wait :D

I wonder, how much weight the clearcoat saves compared to older glossy paints on those Addicts.
