Wasn’t Impey on an Addict Disc?

Edit: Nope. Trentin is; Impey was on the Foil.

Might have been better off using disc brakes and a faster bike. Ouch.

I think he gave up too much the day prior to get a yellow. Get it when you can! Scott sponsors would want that win on the new bike.

But climbs like today are what marginal gain weight weenie bikes are all about. What was that, 2500m of 8% gradient or something? Mind you, i Would like to see the data given they would be over 15km/hr average.

Am I understanding correctly that the one-piece Syncros Creston iC SL carbon bar+stem combo that comes on the top-level RC Ultimate build clamps to a standard 1 1/8" steerer? It seems there is a lot of funky stuff going on with the fork steerer on that bike, but from what I can tell, in the end the steer tube/clamp interface is still 1 1/8".

If that's correct, then this seems for me a front-runner WW option for a replacement EVO3 cockpit. At a claimed 295g w/ Garmin mount, and internal cable routing to the front of the head tube, it seems to tick all the boxes for me.

If the clamp is indeed 1 1/8".
EVO1 | 5.37kg
EVO3 (sold) | 6.51kg
EVO4 | build thread coming soon
S5 Disc
SystemSix (sold) | 8.01kg
P5 Disc | heavy but fast

The new Addict isn’t even on Scott’s website yet... major marketing fail.

But what about Frameset weight
In comparison with S-works,new Supersix the Ultimate should be the lightest and cheapest option?

It's there in a "news" article and even the models, but only pictures without prices, so you can kinda make out the components and colours.

When you search for SCOTT Addict RC 2020 online, you already find some dealers with pics and prices for the new models. The new RC 15 with Ultegra Di2 is £4999, for example.
