Oh yeah, I also just ordered the Rithey 7x9,6 clamp. I use a Fizik Argo R1 with 7x10 carbon rails. Will that work? It does on my Merida Reacto which says 7x9 on the clamp.

Sorry for posting so much, I'm just stressed right now, how to fix this.

Apparently I have the Creston IC 2.0 bar, and not the 1.5 that I see everywhere on the net. Anyone know what's the difference? Can't seem to find the 2.0 anywhere, it's like it doesn't exist. I found out that I could get the 1.5 in 38 through a shop here in Sweden. But I would really rather get a nicer carbon Aero bar, with the hole of course, if it works.

There is the option to just get the SL in 400/120 but I just can't justify the price and not to be able to change pitch on the bars.

This is the only pic I found of this stem with a different bar. It's obviously also Syncros original but it's carbon. Anyone know which bars those are?

The ic sl has 4° degree of flare so basically 1cm extra in each side in the drops

Ok thanks. Do you know if the actual size is measured at the drops, and center-center? Mine IC 2.0 is 42 c-c at the drops. If the SL has a 4 degree flare then the size 40 should be 38 at the hoods. Which would be ok but I would like to avoid paying for the SL if other bars can work with the original stem.

I was looking att the new FSA Acr system bars. The new Metrons on the pic below should have the hole in the middle, and so do others like the SLK, which are all available in 38. I don't see why they wouldn't work with this system. In the text below about the FSA Metron, it says it has extra large holes and is future proof for integrated systems. I also found a pic of the Syncros 1.5 hole, and how the cables go in.

Also I forgot to add. If the Fsa handlebars would work, that would also spare me having to change to a 120mm stem, since they have 80mm reach and the Syncros IC 2.0 and 1.5 have only 70mm.

I've been reading through the thread and found that not a single person is complaining about too little setback, it's the opposite, no one wants a 20mm post. I seem to be the only one looking for a 20mm offset post, since the bike is a little on the small side and I am trying to get the saddle tip to bb center to be the exakt same as my previous bike. I can't do it with the 5mm one without having my saddle as far back as possible.

So if anyone has one, maybe I can buy it from you instead of paying 250 euros for a new SL. And I will also have my 5mm one for sale.

The ic sl is measured at the hoods. A 40cm is at the hoods, thus 42cm at the drops

Roadbiker, I have a new-in-box 20mm offset post that I'm happy to sell. Will send PM.

re bars: If you're looking at alternative bar/stems, be aware that the steerer tube on the Addict RC is 1.25". This limits your options quite a bit. I suspect the FSA ACR is not going to fit. Deda Vinci might work (but heavy), also Giant OD2 stems or Zipp Service Course SL OS stems are available in 1.25".

But for that he needs some solution to cover the headset. A 3d printed solution.

Thanks, I will get back to you on pm.

I'm not actually looking to change to a different stem, I thought to just get the same IC RR in 120mm. What I was asking was if any other bar that has a hole in the middle like FSA ACR bars will fit with the IC RR stem.

Here is a pic of the bike by the way. I'm really thrilled with it. I'm trying to also figure out which wheels to get for it. Does anyone have 50+ wheels on theirs? I haven't seen many pic of the Addict with deep wheels. Now I am looking at the Hunt Limitless 60 or Hunr 54. Or maybe Zipp 404 or Enve Foundation, but they are more expensive.

Not sure if the Hunts that are 34mm wide would fit, and it might be too wide for the tire size I'm looking to run. I will probably go for 28 in the back and 25 front.

I'm also not sure if to get the D Zero meter for the Force cranks, which is really cheap or wait for the Speedplay Power pedals.

I've got a pair of Scope R5D (55mm) on mine that I had previously on my Orbea Orca Aero. I think they look cool and definitely feel/are a fast option for where I ride (around London). If you do proper mountains rather than the rolling hills we have here I think 45mm might be the ideal choice for an all-rounder option as you have builds available at around 1320g for a tubeless-ready wheelset.

Thanks for the pics, that looks nice. There are no mountains here in Stockhom🙂, it's mostly flat. I'm coming of an Aero bike with deep wheels, which makes the most sense where I ride. The Addict was never on my radar, but now that I have it in front of me, it's really stunning. I just hope I can solve the handlebar problem.

Even though I would like really light wheels, I think deeper is better aerodinamically for this terrain.

Does anyone know if the Hunts which are 21 internal and 34 external would fit in this frame? I would rather something that's 20-21 internal and max 30 external.

I have Roval Rapide CLX on mine (51/60 deep). Front wheel is 35mm wide and with a 28mm tyre there is still plenty clearance. There are some pics a few pages back in this thread. Bike is bright red - Page 123

That is one of the original pre-production bars. The weird carbon finish is because it was a wet layup prototype.

56mm deep, 23mm internal with 28mm tyres - plenty of room...
