Actually, not a lot to share. I rode them twice. Then my left etap shifter when kaput and I have the bike in the store since. No shifters available at all. The wheels I've just noticed the confort but somewhat expected at 31.5mm and some 55psi.Ytse wrote: ↑Fri Jun 24, 2022 8:13 amAny thoughts or information to share about that setup? A 30c tire growing up to 33mm for instance I guess it would be a problem.Ytse wrote: ↑Sun Jun 19, 2022 6:38 amTeam,
I have an Addict RC (2020 model) with Campagnolo Bora WTO 60 wheels and Continental GP5000 TL tyres (25mm). I plan to go wider and would like to know if 28mm tyres on a Zipp 303 Firecrest (30mm external width) will fit the frame. Do you have any first hand experience?

After a long research process, I went for a Vison Metron Aero handlebar. Size 40 is 39cm at the hoods and 41 on the drops. Never looked back. Oh, and can be mounted on the factory Syncros stem, which is a bit heavy, but looks cool.

I'm using the 303FC with 28mm on my Addict for 18 months now. Fits perfectly with lots of room left.

Hi how do the cables get to the derailleurs? Direct with the entire sheath or do they stop on a plate?frogtape777 wrote: ↑Wed Sep 23, 2020 1:24 pm110mm to 90mm RR IC stem swap guide... scotts literature had me believe it would be easy. As hydro cables dont need cutting. Which is true!
Unwrap bar tape.
Remove both inner gear wires.
Remove all bolts on stem and handlebars.
Pull outers from handlebar with pliers and lots of swearing.
Pull outers through middle of stem.
Lift out hydro cables which rest on top of stem.
Remove front brake caliper for more cable wiggle room.
Get new stem. Feed gear outers through middle.
Spend 2 -3 hours cursing trying to feed the outers back through handlebars using garden wire as a worm and every tool in the house to make the last bit of outer fit through eye of needle hole near hoods. Curse some more.
Make 5th brew.
By sheer luck and lottery win style odds get one outer through.
Other gear outer proves even more difficult as less wiggle room in handle bar central opening.
With odds equal to winning the lottery twice eventually with a broken stooped back and sore hands get 2nd outer through.
Snip 1cm off each battered outer end.
Faff for a further hour trying to stuff cables back in headtube and arrange them all nicely in new stem.
Rewrap bar tape final job on list!

No. Which was a dealbreaker for me. I also got a Vision Metron bar but in 38 and used it with original stem. Only that I had to get a new 120mm stem as well. The price for both was almost the same as a Creston SL. The Vision bars are only 208g from what I remember. But the 120mm stem is a whopping 300g
Companies need to start offering more options with these integrated bars. Especially when the stems tend to be super heavy. Is there any original stem heavier than the one on the Addict out there? I don't believe so.
I think it looks great though. I'm not a fan of the look of Creston SL. The distance between the hoods, c-c is 36cm without twisting the hoods inwards.

Another problem with these proprietary parts, is that they are really difficult to sell. Expensive to buy if you need a different size and almost impossible to sell. At least locally, here in Sweden. I've had an SL seatpost on sale for several months with no one interested. The original 110mm stem, I didn't even bother putting on sale. Although I might need it when I sell the bike.
What have you decided on replacing them with? You also have the option of Farsports F1 integrated bars.

I was wondering about that. Interesting. Too late now though as I already paid a lot to have it done. Because the cables go through the middle of the bar. To do it differently, the cables would have to be taken out of the bars again. Plus I want them to be fully hidden. I know the FSA ACR stems would work to have the cables through the middle. Not sure how much those weigh though, if there would be a significant weight saving.pmprego wrote: ↑Sun Jul 03, 2022 5:03 pmThe addict gravel headset works with the addict rc and allows the use of basically any stem/handlebarRoadbiker10 wrote: ↑Sun Jul 03, 2022 4:51 pmNo. Which was a dealbreaker for me. I've checked Scott Addict and Addict RC and it seems that geometried are quite different. It's not like Tarmac and Tarmac S-Works where RC is a Hi-Mod Carbon.
Regular Addict looks like endurance bike, while RC is full race model with some aero bits.
Can anyone who seen two bikes confirm that for me ?

You are correct. Regular Addict is Scott's endurance bike, while Addict RC (=Race Concept) is a road race bike. Within the RC range, there are 3 different carbon layups with the same geo, HMF (low tier), HMX (mid tier), HMX SL (top tier).TLN wrote: ↑Thu Jul 07, 2022 12:54 amI've checked Scott Addict and Addict RC and it seems that geometried are quite different. So you mean the solution is not just the headset but to buy the whole spacer-kit for gravel-addict and then use any stem on top? I think only this syncros gravel stem would work with the shape of the spacers...
I'm also interested in this as I have a gravel bike and I'd like to use a different set of bars with the standard stem (120mm). Does anyone have a part number or link to this spacer kit? It looks like this is my best option.
Thx
