New light handlebar

I’m trying to reduce weight on my new BMC Roadmachine 01 and first thing to do is swapping handlebar from the 330 gram heavy aluminum branded house brand one.
I’m looking at 3T at the momen. I want to go sub 200 g. Preferably 180 g. Going for size 40.
I could really use some advice here on which one to chose. It must be able to route brake hoses and di2 wires internally.
Is the 3T Ernovo capable of that?
I see some bars have the entry/exit hole placed differently at the lever area. Front or backside of bar.
I am running Shimano Ultegra R8070 levers.

I got the Ernova recently. Seems very nice. Large routing holes and a good amount of flex, which I'm all for as = comfort. CRC have a sick discount on right now - £70 from £199 retail. Came in around 197g.

Should I rather go for a bar with a cable channel underneath the bar and route hoses there and then only put the wires internally?
What is the struggle with running both hose and di2 wires inside?
Never done this before, that’s why asking.

I don't know what diameter the hoses are, but based on space I have from brake outers there is more than enough for a Di2 cable.

If you're happy with your fit have a look at integrated bars perhaps.
They often weigh less and don't have a risk of delaminating at the stem/bar junction. Peace of mind...
Bars with internally routed cables weigh more because they need reinforcement. They have more places where cracks can develop.

Brake hoses seems to be more or less the same diameter as brake cables. Maybe 1mm more.
Integrated bar is not possible with the BMC since it has a fork that is square shaped. Must be run with own BMC integrated stem.
I have in the meantime ordered a 3T Ernova Team Stealth handlebar in 40cm, should tip the scales at 190 g. Super deal at CRC.

Just rode my bike to LBS without any handlebar tape and it already felt a bit different, as in smoother.
As for cracks and delamination. Eh, something to keep an eye on but I'm sure they go through enough fatigue testing that most people don't need to worry.
Also as the holes are on the bottom, I imagine it further reduces risk if damage does occur there.
Congrats on the bars OP, let us know what your impressions are!
EDIT: OP good thing you've got hydraulic hoses and electric cables. Through internal routing shifting suffers quite a lot with mechanical.

So I finally received my 3T Ernova Team drop bar.
200 g spot on with cable guides. Probably 190 g without. A 150 grams bike upgrade for only 70 euros!

My experience is that light carbon bars are extremely sensitive at the clamp area. Since you're coming from alloy I'd like to warn you to clamp it carefully.
If it's not held on there with the right pressure or with the right stem, the bar will over time slowly compress and delaminate until it's useless.
Use a stem with a large clamp area and clamped just enough but not too much. Then you're golden.
I'd take a weight penalty just to get an integrated bar where it can't happen, but luckily those are usually lighter as well.

I got the 3T Superergo LTD from starbike a couple of months ago. Best upgrade from my bike in terms of comfort. My bontrager XXX bars were just 15-20 grams heavier by spec but significantly less comfortable.
Internal routing (mechanical + rim) was a breeze, especially compared to the horror stories of routing on the older ergonova bars (not sure about the ernovas). I just used a shifter inner cable to guide the housings one by one. Shifting performance and brake lever feel are great. Can't even tell a difference compared to the older bars.
Be sure to use a generous amount of carbon assembly paste when you install them. Enjoy your bars!

From my experience flexy bars always absorb more road imperfections than stiff bars. I still remember how much more bumps my hands can feel after replacing the FSA K-Force LIte (flexy) with a 3T Ergonova couple years ago.

I feel you. It was quite difficult to mount cables and housings on my old ergonova team and the brake feel was not good
. New superergo's internal routing improves a lot.
