I just use some foam core to push up in there. It's a press-fit but hasn't moved yet. Aero seatpost so don't have many other decent options.
Light and extremely cheap. Has worked fine for years.

I can't mount a battery in my seatpost either. So I just wrapped the battery in bubble wrap and tie a string to the battery, and inserted the battery down the seat tube until it hits the upper bottle cage mounts. It works great. The string is there in case I need to pull the battery out.
A spare strip of deda bar tape works well and is only a few grams.

Some bar end plugs work. You just need to make a hole in them.

I do the same, but put it in with the wire up, and use a bent spoke to hook it out when needed.pdlpsher1 wrote: ↑Mon May 20, 2019 7:13 pmI can't mount a battery in my seatpost either.
