Ate it pretty hard last night when my front tire lost all pressure going down a 10% grade. Bike came out remarkably well, all told, except for the front brake.

Can anyone tell me how to fix this?

Sorry to hear this. I can’t answer your question but just curious how you lost all tire pressure suddenly. I hope you weren’t using latex tubes.

Something tore a 6mm wide hole in the tire. Went from 60psi to zero, instantly.

Figured it out.

Pop the retaining c-clip, push the pin out. Then, remove the screw holding the “stop plate” in place. Wiggle that free. In my case, the force of the crash pulled the bolt out of a hole that was smaller than the head of the bolt.

So, I took various pairs of pliers and a tiny ball-peen hammer to it, and bent it flat again. Reassembled in reverse order, of course.
