Don't trust Competitive Cyclist's website for good tech information. Saying that as a former employee, the content team isn't too saavy on cycling knowledge. Both the brakes you posted are in fact rears, which are made for under BB mounting. At the same time, it doesn't matter, it's just uglier.

I was on Crane Creeks website and that website is not user friendly at all (more like an ancient dinasour). I could not find any good information on these brake units.

That's interesting. I was only seeing the regular mount brake calipar when I was on their page. Thanks for clearing that up for me.

Update: I sent the other calipers back and have installed the correct G4 calipers. All light weight and good now.

I've taken the Emonda out for a couple rides and the brakes are top notch. I may install a set on my other bike, not DM though.
