Around 10 days ago,the CEO of Giant said that the "made in China"days are over due to the taxes applied in some regions(USA/EU).So Giant are opening a new plant in Hungary which will serve the European market and it's going to be operational the end of 2019.So a completely new Tcr should be expected sometime next year(no point to start producing in the new plant a frame that's going to be replaced).I suspect that the delay of pricing of the new Scott Addict(Giant produces Scott frames)has also to do with that reconstruction of the operations.

Following on from muti's post above, there are a couple of 'suggestive' 2020 model pics on instagram here
https://www.instagram.com/tcrtuesday/ (new colourways?) and here https://www.instagram.com/indonesiagiantcc/ and https://www.instagram.com/p/BzaBmJClTo_/ and https://www.instagram.com/giant.dajia/

None of which point to us getting a new model TCR this year.
We'll know for certain 2020 announcements on the 22nd of July in the UK.

Picked up a 2020 Adv Pro frameset yesterday. Structurally, same as prior years with a new paint scheme. Rim brake model is similar to Greg Van Avermaet's, but with a dark green in place of gold.

My crash replacement is in. And, if the question is "how much more white could my new frame be?" the answer would have to be "almost none. Almost none more white".

I've been complaining for years about Giant graphics and paint schemes - and professing that I'd prefer a single color with no weird lines painted on it. Well, here I go.

My guess is that this is not going to be a complete bike color option.

Frameset weighs in the "high 900's" according to shop guys. Have not been to see it yet myself.

The only marking for Advanced SL is on the insided of the drive side chain stay.

I’m with ya... frames like that build up really nice. Clean and uncluttered looking. Various tubes proportional to each other with nice easy to follow lines and no unnecessary weirdness that has to be “explained” in order for people to get it.
Colnago C64 - The Naked Build; Colnago C60 - PR99; Trek Koppenberg - Where Emonda and Domane Meet;
Unlinked Builds (searchable): Colnago C59 - 5 Years Later; Trek Emonda SL Campagnolo SR; Special Colnago EPQ

Yes - I agree......, this will look the goods with some mid depth carbon wheels and black trim. I'm not sure it needed the visually impaired TCR decal on the top tube, ..... just incase you forget what you're riding :noidea:

I got to see it in person last night. The paint is really nice - with a little metallic sheen.

The only model designation is on the inside of the drive chain stay:

I will be sticking with the 30 mm SLR1 climbing rims (tubeless Schwalbe Pro One tires). Black tape, black saddle ( Pro Logo Dimension - carbon rails). Red 22 crankset, Red Brakes, Force shifters and derailleurs.

Photos do not do justice to the actual paint. Giant knocked it out of the park with this particular paint. I think they are finally upping their game.

I took shots from both sides to try to minimze the shadow effect.

That’s a great looking bike, especially with the minimal logos on the all black wheels.
