I’ll just look to other brands for inspiration. Dropped seatstays and some front cockpit integration.

It was suggested today that the new tcr would be more like the liv Langma, however I had a look today at the langma and the only difference I can see is the shape of the down tube, which, on the leading edge is round (kamm tail ish shape)... anyone else know any differences between the tcr and the langma?
The SL's look great (especially with the Flux stem) but what the hell is going on where the seat post enters the seat tube on the Advanced Pro models? :scared:

Ride the current SL for inspiration. It’s as good if not better than any race/climbing bike on the market.

I'm probably going to get this for my next bike. I'm in China and I'm friends with a few Giant dealers that can get stuff from Taiwan. Giant are in every small town here. I'm most attracted ny Giant's warranties and consistent reports of very few failures. I have a habit of trashing frames becuase I'm agressive with them (bad habit from riding 160mm travel full sus alloy MTBs) and my near 25,000kms a year mileage. Really want a climber with an aero front end.

Anyone got any thoughts on the current TCR, how's the sizing? Does it come up on the larger or smaller size?

I don't think larger or smaller size really means much. The geometry is the geometry. I know the TCR has a longer TT and shorter stack than some of the Canyons.
Here's a link for you to compare bikes - https://geometrygeeks.bike/bike/giant-t ... d-sl-2016/

I was checking out the medium. I like my current bike's geo and the M is within mm's of my current bike. 1cm longer in effective TT but within mms everywhere else.

eTT is a compound measurement indicative of nothing without context. Break that down into what matters, aka stack, reach and whether you can achieve your preferred saddle position.

Well we've got to wait until the new model comes out to have a look at those numbers again. My bike looks very close with stack and reach compared with the current model.

I'm a macro adjuster anyway.

Unless it’s a new model name it doesn’t appear we have an update coming to the tcr at the moment.

Don’t know about a replacement TCR, but a new integrated bar is coming in late September. Weight is 343grams for a 400mm/100mm

I am getting a crash replacement frame set for my 2016 TCR Advanced SL. The replacement is coming from the 2020 model line. There is no difference from the current generation. The colorway is Rainbow White/Chrome/Black. The are in stock for giant retailers.

I can't get a pic. The guy in the warehouse refuses to accomodate that request. It is bizzare. There's a blurred out rendering on the Giant retailer site that the dealer showed me. I have a photo of the bad pic on a computer screen. You can't see much detail - and I am guessing that Giant would not want it out there. I don't want to chuck a wrench into the works - so I will post a pic once the frame is in hand.

I will say that the graphic details do appear to be updated a bit and the lines all look a little nicer - from what I can tell.
