Hello everybody
This is Harry from Germany. While surfing in the www I found the Boardman SLR 9.4 bike. Although this bike is not available in Germany it sounds quite interesting. Is there anybody riding this bike and can me tell about it? Is the claimed weight from 780 gr true? Or knows the exact weight? Also 9.6 and 9.8 are interesting.
I'm thankful vor all informations,

A friend has an SLR and is very happy with it

Chris Boardman as well as being an ex pro and Olympic track champion has gone on to make a reputation as a tech guru. He was responsible for a good deal of the inovation in British Cycling Team equipment over the past few years and put much of this knowledge into his brand. The biggest bicycle chain store in the UK backed his project and subsequently bought the brand. I don't know how much input he still has.

I own a boardman 9.2 SLR Endurance disc 2017 model. I have mixed feelings about that bike. I think that the frame and paintwork on it are good quality, it was a very good value as well.
Customer support, however, is atrocious. They would advertise a lifetime warranty but they would never honour it even for a manufacturing fault. The detailed information about parts, sizes, standards is very hard to find and their support is incompetent.
Boardman brand is a part of halfords which sells ultra cheap bikes, this shines its light on how they do business in general.
