Custom Painting - logo/brand question...
Moderator: robbosmans
I am a happy Colnago C64 owner, and bought a smaller old steel bike for my son (NOT a Colnago ). We are about to start the custom paint job (ordered based coat, a few colors and top coat from spray.bike) and we are contemplating what logo/brand to put on the bike. My son's name is Colin, so he jokingly said we should put 'Colinago' on the downtube. Would love to hear opinions about whether this would be in bad taste or whether it would be fun. Of course, I also think Colnago could sue me if they care... So, would you feel offended if you saw a kid riding around on a bike with this logo on the downtube? Remember, his name is Colin...

It would be fun. But you will rot in an Italian prison for sure. In the cell right next to mine. Lol

Another cool vote.
Also, right now I am debating whether to use Spray Bike, Montana Cans, or mtn (Montana Color) spray paint to add accents to a new frame. I know Spray Bike was formulated for bikes (powder coat) but it is harder to find, more expensive, and has fewer colors. If you spray soon I'd love to hear your results.
