Anyone tried F3 Cycling Garmin mount?

This is pretty important. The K Alloy Stem is just a tad not level, but not enough where it bothers me. So it points down ever so slightly.

Also recommend getting the bridge install tool otherwise the arms move all over the place when you start tightening up the bolts. This also affects how your wahoo/garmin will sit once mounted.

I have this mount (bought it during their indiegogo campaign) but it is quite complicated to get it in the right position.

Reading that there is a tool meanwhile makes me think that this tool is helpful.....

It's great once setup, but it'll never be level. The rods twist as you tighten the bolts. One strategy that works OK is to tighten all faceplate bolts, not paying attention to the exact position of the rods, then back off the top (non mount) bolts, and then back off the mount bolts a know number of turns. Now focus on getting the rods right while to retighten then known number of turns. Once you've achieved this miricle, retighten the top bolts. This will allow you to tight the mount bolts with less force on the bolt head, saving you some headache.

The arms need to be greased, though still a a massive pain in the ass to align properly.

Hm, i ordered this mount. But i didn't know it was 29 grams excluding bolts.
There should be a way to "fix" the arms without the tool you speak of.
Didn't realize it's almost as heavy as the Edge 130 unit
I was looking at Alptitude Stelvio mount. But it uses only one bolt attachment. I was wondering how this would be enough to hold the Garmin level (not dipping left or right).
Anyone using Alptitude?

You can clamp the arms, but the problem is that you need to get a tool in behind where you’re clamping. It is very tight and you’d end up with a very specialized jig.

Order the light mount while you’re ordering.

I didn't find it too hard to get it perfectly positioned by:

1. While installing, put some grease on the arms at points where they contact either bolt spacers or stem's faceplate and the attaching bolt's head.
2. Tighten all stem bolts to specified torque. Resist the arms twisting by hand, but no need to get them perfectly positioned just yet. Just make sure all bolts are evenly tightened.
3. Loosen the other two stem bolts just enough the arms can be turned.
4. Fine tune the arm's position by hand.
5. Tighten the other two bolts back to specified torque.
(6. When in doubt, check the Form mount bolts' tightness. I bet they are reasonably close to spec.)
7. Fine tune the cradle's fore/aft position.
8. Enjoy a perfectly positioned head unit.

Few bolt mounts that also supports a gopro/light mount under.

So it seems i would need "short arms" as an extra order. Kind of like the Carbonworks version, but it requires stems with a thread through stem.
Werkings version is also interesting, but going from Edge 130 to 530/830 would require a new.
Also, anyone have any input if these 1 bolt mounts really stay in place?
I wonder if they dip left/ right all of a sudden?
