Canyon ultimate - naked. Good idea?

I'm tempted to strip (sand) my Canyon Ultimate SLX from paint to the naked carbon and cover with wax only. However don't want to be surprised by untidy layout or loads of filler.

Did anyone try this? Even just before repainting?

Thoughts, recommendations, photos welcome.
Thanks!

You’re going to want a protective layer harder than wax...and one that protects against UV. Two layers of 2K clear...read up on how to handle it safely.

You're right. Definitely will need to consider the best transparent UV protection. But my concern really is the esthetics of the carbon layup on Canyon frames that's hidden underneath the paint. Maybe they never produce clear coated design for a reason. I've seen ton of Supersix Evo HiMod sanded, but no Canyon frames.

I'll appreciate thoughts or reference pics to help me decide.

My Canyon Aeroad CF from circa 2013 is clear coated from the factory. It is mainly UD carbon but has a nice little patch of 12k weave around the FD mount.

I don't know if they've felt the need to hide this in the years since.
