Hi there, looking for light and reliable option to mount on Hollowgram Si crankset with 5-bolt spider. Currently runnung FSA Super Road in K-Force design, but not sure about aesthetics.
Options that come to mind are:
Sram Red rings(nice look, nice price, but quite heavy)
Stronglight CT2 (dunno about it, nice price though)
BOR (looks smart, dunno about shifting quality)
Extralite Octaramp MC (light, looks smart, dunno about shifting quality)
Spidering SL (light, but pricey)

Any thoughts? Maybe i'm missing something?
Thanks in advance.

How about one of those 8 arm spiderrings? They should be cheaper than the 10 arm ones and match the crank nicely.

Sram red rings are "hidden bolt" which means they often don't fit other cranks.

For very cheap rings that are light and that still have steel pickup pins for better shifting than extralite, try the Sram/Truvative powerglide 10sp chainrings. They are 94gr for 50t and 28gr for 34t.

I was thinking about 8-arm Spidering, but it seems that i won't save anything in weight with it.
I live in flat area, so 50/34 is not an option for me, i'm looking for 53/39 or at least 52/36.

Spiderrings aren't that light. They perform well.

Swap the crank for a sram red bb30 if you want light.

Really? I have both a SRAM Red BB30 (2017 Exogram) and a Hollowgram SISL2 with SpideRing SL (the 10 arms one), SRAM Red is heavier... but you can use lighter chainrings... and yes, they're cheaper. But the Hollowgram looks nicer and shifts really well as the SpideRing flexes less than most normal bolted chainrings.

Sram red chainrings are heavy, the crank is light.
