Thanks! I admit, it will be nice when Campy comes up with a better interface design.
As for placement, it's a small price to pay. In return I can trim on the fly (needed for multiple wheelsets) and charging in a breeze!
I also prefer the minimal wire/cabling.
There's cleaner ways to route it than staring at zip ties on your stem every day:
I like Gorilla doublesided tape. Stick it under the stem or wherever and at least you get rid of the zip ties.

Yes, the cable ties. Forgot about those, as no one has objected to them.
My plan was to confirm stem size, for best fit. Once that is complete I was going to use adhesive to attach the inteface.
I thought the interface came with a peal off adhesive, but if not I have something here. Fit is established so I can complete it now.

The interface comes with a piece of rubber with adhesive on one side that gets stuck to the interface itself, but still uses zip ties for securing. What you want to do is chuck that and replace it with a piece of Gorilla double sided tape. It’s thick and works really well. And I have removed it in the past without any negative consequences.

It looks clean and smart.
I can justify the interface on the side by aero gains since it attached behind the handlebar
