The seatpost looks very odd to me. It has a big offset and diameter gap between the tube and seatpost...

The cable routes is not so good either. Why not Bontrager creating something like Shimano's Pro Vibe or Tharsis XC to make it cleaner.

The seatpost is likely equivalent to a 25mm setback post. Trek/Bontrager posts can look crazy because the centerline of the ST is ahead of the bottom bracket center.

Anyone post the geometry chart?

btw it says rim brake here for the SL frameset.

If they sell a rim-brake SL, it'll be based on the previous version of the Domane SL.

integrated down tube storage - basically a slightly cleaner version of specialized swat box,

1 min faster than previous domane over 40 miles at an unspecified speed.

2.27kg for frameset including seatpost.

clearance for 38mm tires!!

Some ridiculously good looking colourways will be launched.

will be released this friday.

Are the cables routed through the bottom tube (creating a sharp "S" bend at the head tube)? Or do they go through the top down, down the seat tube, and into the chainstays (creating a sharp bend at the bottom bracket instead)?

Are the geometries the same on Domane 3.0?

Take a look at the new 2020 Trek Domane SL and SLR!

Trek have improved the excellent Domane for 2020 with all new frameset!

Some big changes across the range, to start off we say goodby to rim brakes, the new models are disc only! Trek have also moved away from their own press fit bottom bracket standard and gone for the threaded T47 standard which we think is a 1st for a one of the large manufactures to adapt – so now the frame can take SRAM Dub and 30MM crank axles. There is also a new seat mast design and integrated storage!

and finally a new lower priced options with the new Shimano Tiagra 4700 groupset fitted.

The purple flip looks amazing! Once I see the geo this could very well be my new bike, as the Crockett only comes with SRAM.

From what I’ve seen, cables are routed similarly to the Cervelo R5 - ugly af.

Besides that, I found this bike to be butt ugly, the downtube makes it look like an old e-bike.

For those saying it's ugly, what makes it uglier than a Madone SLR or a Look 795 Blade RS?
