I want to know what kind of vitamins DQS is using rather than what kind of bikes.

Still can't work out who this bike is for.
Wouldn't you be better off on either a proper gravel bike for going off road or something like a Tarmac with 28-30mm tyres?

Counterpoint, most people who buy Tarmacs would be better off with a Roubaix.

It's part of the annual sell another kind of bike - that's right, a Roubaix bike. It's like a gravel bike, or a CX bike and a bit like a climbing bike but not. The N+1 you never knew you needed.

The bike itself is pretty dumb. It's kind of aero, but you're stuck up high into the wind with no way to get lower. Most pros famously are happy with a climbing bike with double bar wrap and slightly lower pressures in their tires or slightly wider ones if they'll fit.

Supension gimmicks and massive price tag. It doesn't seem like engineering department innovation, much more marketing dept innovation.

It's an endurance bike for those that like to sit up. What's not to understand?

Now, a handful of high wage earners will buy the sworks version just because the price tag is not a hindrance.

And the Future Shock wins the Paris Roubaix!
Does anyone know if the front suspension was turned off or even if there actually was a suspension unit in Gilberts bike? I was watching the bars one the cobbles and there were even some slow motion shots and I could not detect any travel.

Counter counter point: Tarmac Geometry is too aggressive for most people.

During yesterday's PR did Sagan keep the Futureshock locked out over some of the cobbles? Maybe it's just me or maybe my TV stream just couldn't keep up with the bouncing of the Futureshock 2.0.

I noticed it also, when watching replay today. They were using prototype knob. Maybe its just the knob and no shock.
For example nobody rides MTB fork/shock locked, when the terrain is bumpy etc.

So it's not just me! I was looking for it too, but I could not see any movement of the Futureshock. I bet they had it locked out the whole time. If I recall correctly, last year, Sagan had a 'special spring' which he used which I'd bet made the bike's front end totally rigid.
