Is this bolt available in titanium? I've checked titaniumplanet and ebay to no success. Anyone else interested in this? I messaged TP and will share their reply, is there's any.

Absolutely, but then I wonder why Shimano didn't make it in aluminium to begin with. Maybe it wouldn't be "hard" enough to crimp the olive?

You're right, aluminium wouldn't be able to generate enough load/pressure to close the olive joint without either stripping, or gouging up the surface. They need a fair swing on them to do the job properly. (5-7Nm) Plus the load isn't all axial. Thin walled aluminium is not good at that!

Ti might have issues with galling against the brake lever body and the olive.

Plus, how much weight would you save on a safety critical part?

True, little weight saving without forgetting the cost of titanium
