Complete bike out the box: 8.8kg.
Frame including BB and hanger: 1115g
Fork uncut: 475g
this needs to go on a serious diet...target weight is 6.8kg with etap 11s, sisl2 and farsports 35mm feders.
Hard to say, 58 should fit, probably best to compare with your previous bike. I ordered a 58. reach is Almost the Same (5mm Differenz) I can Ride it with the same BB drop like you, But without additional Spacers since my seatpost will be 2cm higher.
The guy in the shop said, that my arms are longer then average. My armspan is 186cm qt 184cm height. Does that maybe explain to go for the 58?

So my opinion is that thru-axles are indeed better and nicer but just that wouldn't be a deciding factor to change a bike IMO. There are many good reasons to change it though.

I just wished the UCI didn't force companies to have their big ugly approval sticker under it!

I went for the larger frame size, which meant I could have very few spacers and a relatively short stem. A smaller frame size would have allowed me a slightly longer stem, but also needed more spacers. So I chose less spacers and a shorter stem.
If your arms are longer than average then
you can get the larger frame, minimise your need for spacers and still have a long stem. If you go for the smaller frame then unless you are supremely flexible you will need more spacers, but the benefit could be a longer stem.
Choice is yours, but largely comes down to your flexibility.
