I am thinking about winter setup, some 32mm CX tires maybe...

No problem fitting 32mm GP5000 tubeless on 28mm rims on mine

It is 30mm officially but that's Cannondale playing it safe as it's hard to predict how big all tires can be on all rims with various level of wheel stiffness under various rider weights. So all their limits are with quite wide space around the tires.

But, I have seen a few riding 700x33 gravel/cx tires with small knobs and they didn't have any issues, I think Lachlan Morton was even using Vittoria Terrano Dry 700x35 on his. I have Panaracer GravelKings 700x32 that fit with room to spare but mine are not the SK versions with knobs but the micro diamond pattern ones. Obviously the tighter the tire gets, the more you should avoid riding in sticky mud that can build up and pick rocks that could scratch the frame and fork.

Finally completed my Supersix - now that the wheels are built up it's ready to show to y'all. Big thanks to Dan Gerous for helping me sort out some problems during the build.



It's mostly a stock 105 Disc build, only changes are as follows:

• Wheels: Light Bicycle WR50 Disc Flyweight with DT Swiss 350 Hubs
• Tires: Vittoria Corsa 28
• Rotors: Shimano RT-MT800
• Chainrings: 52/36 OPI Spiderring
• Saddle: Specialized Power Comp
• Internal Cable Routing using a diy cable stop, a cnc'd aluminum plate and some black tape

If anyone's interested in the internal cable routing mod - I can upload the CAD files I used, although some work with a file was needed to make it fit after machining, as the beveled edges on the plate aren't quite right.

I fancy doing something similar with a 105 disc.

56, saddle height is around 77 cm. Weight is around 8.4 kg, including gps mount, pedals and saddle bag mount.

I'd recommend getting that instead of going the diy route - the kit is probably a lot lighter than my solution, it being plastic instead of aluminum. Should still be strong enough, and a lot less work. That kit wasn't around when I was working on my bike; would've picked it up myself if it had.

6.84kg as pictured including all cages, pedals, wahoo mount, gopro mount, radar mount.
54cm, saddle 76cm, drop 11cm, reach 56cm from tip of saddle to center of bars. and yes, the uncut for is photoshopped out, i need to cut it soon.
Planning maybe SISL2 crankset and i am done hopefully.

Very nice and very good weight! With SiSL2 cranks you'll save another 70g or so (if I remember correctly).

What's the weight of this wheelset?
Is that the Far bar?
How come you're not running tubeless?

Tubeless, i was running gp5000tl, but had good deal on turbo cottons with supersonic tubes, so i switched especially because of weight saving.
I may go back to tubeless, considering pro one tle.

You could consider the Hutchinson FUSION 5 GALACTIK 25mm tyre at 240g. If you add another 30ml (=30g) sealant per tyre you have 270g per wheel. It's probably one of the lightest options and they're also quite fast.

Road tubeless is like the cross fit of bike tech: those who do it are always trying to tell everyone else they should do it!

Personally, I think life is too short to deal with the added trouble, mess and cost of tubeless on the road IMO... unless you flat on a regular basis and enjoy the disconnected feel of very low pressures, otherwise there is nothing to gain performance wise. I tried it for a little over a year, didn't like the feel, either too harsh or feeling too dead, so I'm happily back on latex tubes. Paired with the suppler casings of non-tubeless tires, they are still faster to me anyway, I get better feedback from the road surface and no more gambling if a certain tire will work with a certain rim, any tire will install by hand and inflate in 2 minutes with normal pumps, I can swap tires for different conditions in 5 minutes, no need to worry if the sealant I put in two months before has completly dried...

Did you use the -6 or -10 degree insert for the farsports handlebar?

I'm also looking for one of these bars to mount onto my evo3.
11cm seems quite a drop with the spacers underneath the stem.
I have the same saddle height and around the same amount of stem spacers, but only a drop of 9.5cm (size 54 with traditional -6 degree stem and handlebar).
