Hello guys.
I have this on right side of my headtube, the paintwork is peeling off here.

It should be covered by warranty. "Paint and Decals: One year from original retail purchase."

I have contacted lbs, they told me to bring it and they will send it to distributor. I will do that soon most probably, unless you tell me there is no chance of getting replacement.

Can you guys share with me your experience?

1) is there probability of getting new frameset on RMA?

2) i bought the bike as ultegra kit, but replaced for sram red etap, i hope they won't have any problem with that

3) my frameset is 2020 team replica rapha / if i get new frameset, will they

a) find exact same 2020 team replica
b) replace with 2021 team replica
c) offer me some other hi-mod frameset
d) try to fucc me up with standard mod frameset?

That must be some vulnerable place, look at Simon Clarke bike.
LBS is in discussion with distributor. Waiting for insights.
I got info from seller that distributor told him, that cannondale will provide me with new frameset.

They told me they reserved this code name. Availability by February 2021.

700 M S6 Evo HM Disc War Frm REP 54

Any of you can decode what exactly it is? I think it should be 2021 rapha replica. (I had 2020 rapha replica), but my understanding is that I would get 2020 immediately, since I have to wait till February it sounds like my2021.
I got new frameset, the my21 team replica, which has the vulnerable place strengthen from the inside opposed to my20 model. Waiting for brake mounting, bleeding, pressing bearings and cutting fork.

My warranty case was handled with conclusion: This is mechanical damage and is not covered by warranty. For the sake of Cannondale's good reputation, we are going to provide you with new frameset.

I am not dumb of course, i am not pushing steering to the limit. This damage happened for example by leaning the bike while standing and holding the bike just by saddle. So the handlebars/fork/frontwheel automatically turn right... Do it few times and your headtube may get damaged too.

I am waiting for monday till i have my new frameset, then i would call a cannondale service a top notch customer oriented.

Luckily fixed in my21.
My20 owners should consider using some compound or gummy glue on that part to soften eventual impacts from fork.

Looking for some help; I bought the K28000 stem spacer kit on eBay as everyone out of stock but it didn’t come with the bolt for the top cap part - could someone share the spec with me and a photo of how it fixes - I can’t work out if it is a nut + bolt or self tapping screw.

Thanks
It's a hex bolt, so I would assume there's a captured nut on the other side, but I'd have to check to make sure.
I can confirm it's a little nut on the other side, accidentally took the bolt out too much once! It's a 2mm bolt if that helps as well
Many thanks both - if anyone had a picture and knew the length that would be great .

After getting my fork replaced under warranty (due to a void in the steerer tube), here is my final build:

Image

Currently sits bang on 6.9kg which I don’t think is too bad considering it’s a non hi mod with a knot save bar/stem combo. I know it divides opinion, but I think the latest generation EVO looks incomplete with any other stem. A bit like the the previous gen EVO without a hollowgram/spider rings!

With the exception of XTR 140mm rotors, it’s full Dura Ace 9150 with:

Feder 35mm/DT 240
Pro one TLE 25mm
Berk Lupina/hollowgram zero offset post
SiSL2 OPI spider ring 50/34

No plans to go any lighter but I would like to get it repainted in the future and may even go for deeper wheels..

Coming from a previous gen rim brake hi mod (6.4kg) it has taken some getting used to. The geo is completely different and and it’s nowhere near as comfortable.. but, get it set-up properly ie longer/lower and it transforms into a weapon!

Who said about the fix? Cannondale or lbs?

Still waiting my My21 in blue

Great looking bike and weight! Can you share some built details please? I am having a hard time getting below 7kg with the stock SL45 wheels.

Thanks for that. How do you like the galfer discs? They seem to offer a nice weight saving as well
