Anyone know if the candy apple red hi mod ultegara MY20 or 21 and if it's the latter are less susceptible to the head tube damage?
AFAIK it's MY20. MY21 they kept the knife () but put a metal insert inside the headtube, so that it won't destroy it (until the cheaply bonded piece of metal starts coming loose).canterbizzle wrote: ↑Wed Aug 18, 2021 8:26 pmAnyone know if the candy apple red hi mod ultegara MY20 or 21 and if it's the latter are less susceptible to the head tube damage?

Hi all
having trouble with the rear axle. I bought the Robert Axle Project Mavic QR Thru axles (double lead 1mm). Front one fits the fork fine, second one won't fit the rear hanger. I assumed the hanger thread was knackered so bought a new one. Same problem today. Also, the front axle whch is fine in the front fork won't fit the rear hanger either. Am I missing somthing obvious??
Edit - I've just looked at my photo and read the replcement they have sent is a single lead ARGHHHHHH

No, but going to give it a go though. Should be a decent weight saving on trimming too, given the post is 360mm longlexlion wrote:Any try the Hylix Knot seat post? 128 grams to Cannondale's 165 grams

It's the wrong pictures, but the specs are right: it's disc.req110 wrote: ↑Thu Aug 26, 2021 2:45 pmWow, a hi-mod rimbrake frameset!

I think it's like the 3rd time someone got tricked in this thread alone!
Maybe the intern that was in charge of Cannondale's website has been gone since the end of summer 2020.
Last time it was me. Lol
But the pain job is clearly Hi-Mod, no? On HM bikes the white goes all the way down the seat stay. On non-HM it only goes half way. Holds true for all colors with that paint pattern.
So I'm still not 100% convinced this isn't a recent addition. Has anyone asked them about this specific listing?

They are most probably very well-done renderings.
I'm not an expert at this, but both the black and champagne frameset pictures look like they have the same angles and the same lighting.
Which would not be something that easy to achieve on a photoshoot I would say.
Even the BB stickers are exactly at the same place.

Help! Just stripped down the mechanical groupset to install Di2 and, unlike every other di2 I have done, there doesn’t appear to be space around the BB for the 4 way junction box.
Does anyone know how it is typically done?
(For info I have made connections from shifter to control unit in downtime.)
