Are We Getting A New Cannondale Supersix?

Well, since nobody post a rim brake build, maybe it's time to post one

Yes, i know disc brake is the future. I'm also in the industry and there's no denying that 70% of the new bike markets are into disc now.

But I'm a simple (and maybe shallow :p) person. I love the simplicity of rim brake.

Love that build. No denying that disc builds are cleaner though with the hidden cables

Has anyone else noticed that the fork seems to collect about ¼ cup of water after riding in the rain or a bike wash?

I flipped mine upside down after being washed today and a bunch of water poured out of the steer tube

Yeah, I had this experience with my SystemSix as well. Not sure though where the water comes out or gets stuck. Any idea?

Yeah, you must go just straight when raining otherwise it is not very weightweenie:)

There are drain holes in each fork legs, but they're not at the absolute bottom... it can't fill completely with water but some might stay in there after riding in hard rain for long or if you hose directly at the opening when cleaning the bike. I'd just tip the bike over after rainy days and washes, no big deal.

Thanks to hernejj, flashpunk, Tedtan, ch00bzs and many others.
I pulled the trigger. I'll get red size 48, SS Evo 105 disc build very soon.
It'll be stripped and rebuild with my parts from Allez Sprint disc.

This will be an interesting "sidegrade" from Allez Sprint size 49.
5mm lower bottom bracket, way longer front center and more neutral (faster) 58mm trail value.
Will post here again once I build it up (probably ~2 weeks).

Below are gemetry and bar set-up plan. Despite different geometry, my bar should be at the exact same position as before, down to 1mm correct.

Beautiful bike! How did you put the gear cables inside the frame? Do you have a cablestop or you put them along the frame till the end??
