On the Enve site it says 25 is the maximum size, is anyone running larger and if so how big? I am wanting to run 28s. :noidea:
It will be with rim brakes.

My disc 2.0 say 28 but with Enve 3.4 and Corsa 25s there's not a great deal of room. A 28 would probably squeeze in but I'd be wary of picking up stones etc, I've got a few dings on the inside from gravel picked up on the road.

For a rim brake fork with maximum tire clearance I bought a Trek Domane fork. It cleared a 32mm with room to spare. Currently running GP5K 28mm with plenty of room. The key to tire clearance on a fork is the crown to axle distance, not the type of brake used. The Domane fork has a very long CTA distance which raises the mounting points of the brake. It comes with several rake and color options. I got the stealth black with no logos of any kind. For $300 it’s a much better fork than the Enve.

In what way is the Domane fork better than ENVE?

Tire clearance if you wish to run wide tires. And price.

Hello,

are there new insights to this question? I would like to run 28mm-tires on an Enve 2,0-rimbrake fork, anyone tried this yet?

Thank you, best regards

Actual measured 28s are no problem. In my experience the tapered Enve fork seemed to have a touch more clearance than the straight 1 1/8th and took some nightly large Pirelli 28s on HED Ardennes Pros. I've run 28s on two bikes with rim brake Enve forks, and the actual 28mm Veloflex on Mavics were comfortably in there.

Just make sure the tires aren't oversized 28s that measure 31+ like some combos do and you'll be fine.

I can fit Bontrager 28c tires on 19mm internal wheels just fine on my Enve 1.0 fork. The below picture is with 25c tires. Plenty of room for 28s. Using EE calipers.

Hello,

thanks a lot for the Infos/picture. I need the version with 50mm rake, and i think, regrettably it is only available with straight 1 1/8 steerer.

But nevertheless, regarding your posts, it looks like a Conti Gp 5000 in 28mm should easily fit into the fork.

Best regards,

Hello,

short feedback: Conti GP 5000 in 28 mm on Mavic Rsys easily go with the Enve 2,0!

Thanks a lot for your advice, best regards,
