Rim tape recommendation

The problem with Kapton is that it's only 1mm thick, to cover spoke holes ideally you should be using at least 5mm thick tape to prevent the tube once pumped to high pressure from depressing the tape and the tube into the holes and eventually causing an issue. Kapton tape seems to work fine for tubeless tires, but remember the OP doesn't have tubeless, he has clinchers, some of you keep forgetting his original question.
There's also 3M 8087 Seaming tape, I have not used this stuff but I've heard it's really good especially for tubeless alloy rims, but the only people that I've heard using it was MTB riders, so not sure about road bike with higher pressures if the tape will hold up, and it's a wider tape so you would have to cut it to width.

I think you may haved missed "0." when stating the thickness numbers.
