FM109 TT Frame Campagnolo Mechanical
Moderator: robbosmans
I never installed TT bar ends before and I need your help guys.
Here is the originalimage from the guide.
The problem is that right after the stem there is a big hole that goes inside the frame.
No place for cable cup enders.
Should I just put cables there without cup enders?
I'm wondering if this is going to work when cable steath is not stopped by cup ender.

you have to run cables with outer casing all the way to the end.
Interesting.. I suspect the full length cable housing from shifter to rear derailleur would be difficult to fish through the frame.
Please keep posting more pictures as you progress with your build.

Your frame looks alot the same as my two bikes (me and my wifes) Shark Attack TT frames. I bought those via e-bay England, but I have seen same frames on china supliers.
My bike is with Di2 and smaller frame is mechanical. Mechanical has all wires from shifter to derailleur with outer casing.

Thank you all for your help. I'm going to try to install cables with outer casing all the way to the end.
Will keep you posted on the progress

Frame has been succesfully painted
I don't have a bottom bracket tools so I' asked our LBS to install cranks for me.
The problem is that it doesn't spin freely. Here is the video on youtube that shows exactly how it looks like

Is that OK and it will start to spin better after some time or is just to tight and I should unscrew it a bit.
I have Chorus Ultra-Torque post 2016 Crankset.
Any advice is highly apreciated. Thanks!

Installed crankset, derailleurs, brakes, bar end brakes and shifters. Those TRP brakes are pain in the ass.
Next weekend I'm going to install cables.
P.S. yeah my cat sharpens his nails against the wall...

Most probably you are right. Frankly I didn't though about this. Thanks
I'm going to try to route them like this but yes it sounds like it is not the best way to do it

It might be very difficult to route the cables with bottom bracket installed in the frame already.
Keep updated what happens, I am in similar progress with my Chinese TT frame, it is taking me a long time to decide what shifter and derailleur group to use.

For Shimano you should be able to run full length cables until both derailleurs, but I think you will need a cable stop somewhere for your Campy mechanical FD.

A new frame intended for electronic or mechanical should be supplied with a kit of parts for the cable ports. That ought to include a piece intended to terminate outer casing for mechanical front mech.

We have a saying here "measure it seven times, but cut it once". That's why I went to Kyiv, Ukraine to make a proper proper bike fit first.
Hopefully will finish cabling this weekend
