The dura ace wheels are 12s only, the Ultegra wheels are 11s and 12s compatible
Yes, they are compatible.swat wrote: ↑Wed Jan 19, 2022 9:54 amGents, quick question - I have a pair of Shimano Duraace C50 12 speed wheels that came along with my Pinarello that I am thinking of moving to my Colnago which has a Shimano Duraace 11 speed groupset installed currently. Not sure if this has been raised before but wondering if it's possible?
I'm aware that you can install a 12-speed cassette on an 11-speed hub but not sure if the above is possible.

Sorry, of course, new wheels with 12s hub are not compatible with 11s cassette, only vice-versa. I have not read good the question at first.

Ah yes forgot about that
If running 1x with new 12 speed, do the 2 unused ports on the battery need to be plugged and if so are those plugs provided in the kit?

great and i just ran a new 10-28 XG1290 on the setup and it worked flawless. as you say ive also used SRAM cassettes on Di2 setup so was happy this worked.ryanw wrote: ↑Tue Jan 18, 2022 9:11 pmI was using a new XTR/DA chain on 4,000km old XG-1290 cassette, so my scenario is probably quite different to a new / new setup.
The gears worked perfeclty, but they was some hesitation nearer the larger cogs (which were the most used on the cassette). If someone normal (not OCD AF) got on the bike, they would most likely think it's perfect.
Just because I've swapped back, don't think it's a bad thing. I've always used SRAM cassettes on my Shimano bikes. I just wanted to solve this problem and get it working right. That and also needing a lower gear than 36/26 since I'm completely out of shape ATM...

I'll be upgrading my bike with 9200 shifters, derailleurs, cassette and chain. However I would like to keep my current crankarms and chainrings. I am currently running a Quarq Dzero 30mm with SRAM Red 22 X-Glide chainrings. I know this isn't the whole Hyperglide + setup, but is it compatible?
only for campagnolo!!!

I heard yesterday from someone from shimano benelux that there will be no 12sp cassette that starts with 14cog. This is a huge problem for youth riders and worldwide for juniors who have to ride with 52-14. I have no idea how to fix this if you buy a new bike fitted with the new 12sp.Who would have a solution for this.....except of course switching to 11sp. Cheers
