Keep in mind that sram uses a chain with bigger rollers, if you are using a sram cassette with a shimano chain something will wear out faster than normal
Ok thanks i will bear that in mind

I am going down this route now, what xdr driver body do i need for my zipp wheels they are the new 404 hookless?

SRAM P/N: 00.2018.015.000

I'm guessing where the overshift occurs is dependent on all the factors: chainstay length, derailleur hanger geometry, hanger alignment, etc.
This one ?

No. You have a ZR1 hub not a 176 hub. Just Google "ZR1 XDR freehub"

I tried to swap out pulleys to extralite, carbon ones and j&l ceramic, all of the aftermarket ones are much wider than the the stock ones, so the cage doesn’t fit so well and the bolt in some cases isn’t long enough. Interested to see if c-bear fit, if not, will likely just get the Ceramic Speed OSPW cage

From what I have seen so far online they appear to fit with no issue.
If they are no good like yourself will probably get the CS OSPW

Also all those videos of the C-Bear spinning freely are the full ceramic models only no grease.
I have the hybrid ceramics £99 with grease let's just say will not be doing any spinning videos 😂 however I'm sure they will be an improvement over the original DA

Thanks Gavin for the info. I don't own a 12-speed group but your info. is helpful to those experiencing the overshift issue.

If you have a 52/36 with a tooth gap of 16 but entered 54/40 with a tooth gap of 14, will you run into an issue of the RD not having enough chain wrap capacity? I assume you have already tried the big-big and small-small combos. But do you observe the big-big being a little too tight or the small-small being a little too loose? There's probably a good reason why Shimano wanted to lock out certain gear combos and that usually has to do with the chain wrap capacity of the RD.

Lastly, do you see any other chainring combo options beside 50/34, 52/36/and 54/40 in the e-tube app? I ask this because on the Shimano's USA website it lists the top gear teeth capacity of the FD as 46-55. I have wondered if the FD can work with a large ring smaller than a 50. Thanks.
I have no issues with chain wrap capacity when using the 11-30 cassette. I do not have an 11-34 to try and see if it has any issues. I believe it has more to do with shimano worrying about the possibility of the chain contacting the larger chainring when in the smaller chainring and the 11/12 tooth cogs. this was the case on the previous di2 as well.

the only chainrings combos listed at this time are the 3 you listed above. this may change as more become available for cyclocross or gravel (grx).

Anyone managed to get the new Carbon TI rings at all?

Also anyone maybe looking at absolute black?

Looking to swap out the 50/34 for either a 53/52 with 36

Question the jockey wheels on the derailleur are they the same size as the older 9100?
As I don't have the older one to compare im hoping someone else will know, im sure I seen somewhere that the pulleys on the 9200 series are slightly bigger
