Nice. That also explains why the live images I have seen in reviews, either had a saddle bag covering the rear of the post or simply did not show the seat post clamp area from behind. Seems like one could invert the battery and use a 100 mm wire to tidy things up. Other than giving pro mechanics a way to access Di2 while handing out the window of a team car, I don't understand why the downtube is not the preferred location for the junction A.
At least for carbon seatposts, a wireless charging option for the seatpost battery with a concave charging mat would be a nice feature.

I knew I should have cached that image of the Di2 wiring to the seatpost junction A.

What does this mean? Explain it to us non-Di2 users thinking to try the new Di2, lol. Wireless? Semi-wireless? No change in terms of wiring?

It is not so much next gen DA as details about the new Spec SL7 seatpost and an attachment that will allow for mounting an EW-RS910 into the back side of the seat post right below the clamp. The image also illustrated the battery mount Specialized made that is specific to that seat post as well as the installation and recommended wiring lengths and orientation to which several of us commented that there was room for more econimization.

It was taken from a Tarmac SL7 document https://media.specialized.com/support/c ... 145155.pdf

And it has nothing to do with the next Di2. Just the ugliest installation of the current one abruptly appearing in this thread.

Where I can find others manuals? I can't find that on the polish website.
Thank you in advance.

Hyperglide+ is on a different level than any other groupset on the market.
This is the important part. Do I like that Shimano is taking their time until they release the new groupset? No.

But it will be worth it when it comes out. Actual improvement in the shifting, plus the rumoured improvement in hydraulic brakes.

The other company released a new generation by adding a 12th cog and three letters as well as changing the chainring and cog sizes for no real reason. And they just re-used the brakes from the previous generation (!!!)

Jumping ship just because something takes longer than you want it to take is never going to be a good decision...

2021 Tarmac SL7 pdf manual was created in January 2020.
This was popular di2 junction location for ages, nothing new:

:smartass: technically speaking, isn't implementing an integrated solution something new? :beerchug:

SHIMANO IS NOT GOING TO RELEASE THE DURA ACE THIS YEAR
Shimano's 100th anniversary is next year... if I was a bettin' man, I'd say that's when the new DA will be introduced, as part of the anniversary celebration. 8)

Given where we are in 2020, and all the ugliness of this wicked (and still untamed) disease distracting from so many other important things, I would probably say you're right. Too late for me now anyhow, I have bitten the bullet and installed 9150 on my new C64 and, despite cursing a few moments when I was routing cables through bars...and then pulling them back out because I forgot something (which is totally due to my shitty bike building skills, not Shimano or anyone else), I have to say that I am super happy with it. So glad I perservered and didn't opt for the infinitely easier install of SRAM, which I believe is good, but not great like Di2 is

best of luck
Mike
