Highly unlikely given that the max cassette size is 34 for DA9200. At best, it works with a rough shift between 31-36. At worst, it breaks the RD trying to make it work. Maybe with a custom long-cage, which isn't out of reason given the current trend towards customizing your RD which simply wasn't even a consideration outside of drillium a couple years ago.

Shimano is always conservative.. it has a good chance of working.ArtifactsInMotion wrote: ↑Wed Dec 01, 2021 3:13 amHighly unlikely given that the max cassette size is 34 for DA9200. 9000RD was 28T.. I could do 32 on some frames
9100RD ofocurse no issues doing 32
9200RD spec'd to 34.. I'd bet 36 works.
Hell even my AXS Red (non wide) RD does 36t

Quite the interesting setup - xplr 10-36 + 48/33 + 9200. It would be a great gravel setup...

Nitpick, but the 10-36t isn't an XPLR part. It was introduced with Force AXS Wide.
TBH 33x36t isn't good enough for the "gravel" over here on the US West Coast, though I suppose it would be just fine for US Midwest gravel.

Long shot, but anyone used the new KMC X12 chain with 9200? Always preferred the DLC versions over the Shimano chains (and yes, I know they are both made by KMC)

Use the shimano chains, hyperglyde + only works with shimano chains.
