Okay, not getting the two most cross-chained gears can be considered a flaw as much as a feature.
54/30 and 40/11 are gears I am fine without.

You can tell numbers to say the positive or negative message you want to transmit...
12+10 is the standard 50-34 and 52-36 settings. When you use a 39 small ring,12 + 12 is allowed (24 gears). Than it is possible to put 39 parameter with etube and make the system work with 24 gears (also if you use a 34 or 36 ring).
Ths was all ready the same rule with 9150 and 9170 di2 transmissions,

Question for the gurus. I just got my new sworks sl7 with DA9250 group set.
The braze on mount supplied fits the previous dura ace FD 9170 perfectly but seems a bad fit for the new 9250 FD.
When tightened down 7nm it kicks out the cage and makes it hard to align correctly.
I've got it set to -19 in the 11-52 trim setting also. I feel like the braze on isn't right perhaps. The support bolt is just touching, it's not forcing the cage tail out at all.

Regarding the cage kick-out. If it's reasonably consistent, just start with the cage angled inward a bit, so it kicks out to the correct angle. With sram axs FDs I take a measurement between the derailleur cage and crankarm so I know when it's set correctly. They do the same thing. It's not something new.

That's my issue is when I tighten the braze on bolt it kicks out beyond parallel. With a correct fitting braze on you do it slightly inward then tighten the support bolt to parallel.DaveS wrote: ↑Sat Dec 04, 2021 2:49 pmRegarding the cage kick-out. I literally cannot tighten it to spec without it being beyond parallel.
And then there's the issue of having to go to -19 in the trim adjustment for the 11-52.
Somethings wrong with the braze on and if you look at it, it just doesn't seem to fit
Did you check if the wire isn’t being pinched between the mount and the frame?Sleeprequired wrote:That's my issue is when I tighten the braze on bolt it kicks out beyond parallel. Yeah the wire is no problem. I'm almost certain it's the braze on is for the previous di2 FD. it's exactly the same as my friends sl6 and that braze on fits the derailleur.Addict15 wrote: ↑Sun Dec 05, 2021 4:45 amDid you check if the wire isn’t being pinched between the mount and the frame?Sleeprequired wrote:That's my issue is when I tighten the braze on bolt it kicks out beyond parallel. If you look closely at the photo there's a big gap behind the FD to the braze on.
So you can position it right, but as you tighten the bolt down it forced the FD on a sub optimal angle.
Does anyone have a top down shot of a DA 9200 bike?
It was just because he opted for bigger shifters for this one race. Now new versions di2 are considerably bigger than 9100, so maybe we’ll see him using di2 in 2022.
