Received and set up R9200, both rim and disc
Shimano piss me off for the following reasons
- incompatible with levers of R9100 series, hate it
- charging cable is only for charging, while the cable looks such sophisticated
- non series hoods on ST-R9250
- going wireless without any real benfits (the levers have to be connected for updating!! need to pull out the battery......unbelievable, and an extra cable is needed if you don't wanna do it one by one like idiot ... omg)
- require scanning the tiny qr code for pairing the lever....is this a joke?
- no 11/28 cassette yet, my previous setting is 52/36 with 12/28T, regardless the 11T cog, nothing better off with the 11/30T cassette (no climb over 10% nearby)

That said, the shifting is crispy

It's definitely an issue with the cassette. With perfect shifts in every gear, it has to be the spacer between the bonded pair of 17T & 19T steel & Ti sprockets, and the single 16T sprocket. It needs to be slightly larger to stop the overshift.

I have adjusted my rear mech so far outboard that it comprimised the shifting of all gears, yet I would still get the overshift from 16T to 17T.
As you said ryan its the cassette without a doubt i have just fitted the sram and its perfect.

Another fantastic build! Are those Enve 7.8s? I am debating between those and some 808 or 858 wheels for the sl7.

After a year of dealing with a sticky piston and disc rubbing/OCD issues with my R8070 groupset, I decided to upgrade the BR-8070 calipers to the new Duraace BR-9270 calipers. After reading some comments about compatibility and servo wave, I was a little hesitant to try out the new calipers. So I hope this post can shed some light to anyone who was in the same position as I was. First and foremost, the new Duraace BR-9270 calipers work flawlessly with the older Ultegra ST-R8070 shifters. Bleeding the new calipers was much easier, no longer did I have to remove, shake and tap the calipers to remove any stubborn bubbles. There were noticably less bubbles rising to the top of the shifters when flicking the levers. I did not compare the pad clearance to see if there was an extra 10%, however, to my untrained eye it does seem like there is extra room on either side of the rotor. On the bike, the braking feel is identical to the BR-8070 calipers, they do not brake late or require more lever action to compensate for the extra pad clearance. I did not experience any disc rubbing during out of the saddle efforts up climbs nor were there any sticky pistons after hard braking. Overall, i'm very pleased with the BR-9270 calipers.
I do the same

Sure is:
It'll "always" be.
The question are:
- Will it wear out faster?
- Will there be any losses due to worst friction or some other thing going on?

That one would only know if some consistent testing would be made. That said, is it a problem for mere mortals? Most certainly not.

Which bleed kit are people using to work on the new calipers? I can only find the Shimano kit with the insert to go on the bleed nipple but its a bit of a rip off at £30+!

I tried the 11-11 (which are the same as 12-12 except for teeth count!) you need new bolts as well, the DA jockeys are 5.8mm wide, the extralite are 8.3mm, I wasn’t happy with the way the looked with the extra gap in the cage so sent them back and got the CS OSPW instead

I have a 8100 and I'm thinking whether should I build it up, or stick a little longer with my current 8070 which has been flawless. I'm leaning towards reliability rather than having the latest ones out there.

Is this happening across both Dura Ace and Ultegra cassettes?

Do you feel any jerks/shocks,etc when it overshifts and compensates? If its rather seamless, then perhaps it's something to consider about until we can get a fix from Shimano.

Wait, do you need to remove the coin battery before connect the lever for firmware update? Can someone confirm this?

Before everyone bails on the Cassette, make sure your cassette spacers are installed correctly. There are two different thicknesses, and it makes a difference where they are installed on the cassette.
