And where did you source those 9200 rings?

So, got an Aeroad with R9200. First impressions are that it’s very loud under load. No amount of micro adjustments help. I also didn’t realize that micro adjustments were global — I thought with 9200 you could do different adjustments for each cog. Nevertheless, it’s noisy. Hoping it gets better with some use.

It shouldn't be noisy. I don't know what your set up is exactly, but mine is almost silent, even changing gears under load. I'd have someone double check your set up.LedZeppelin007 wrote: ↑Thu Jun 30, 2022 12:40 amSo, got an Aeroad with R9200. First impressions are that it’s very loud under load. It’s mostly fine on the stand, but under load it’s noisy. I checked the hangar alignment last night and it was perfect.tmrace wrote:It shouldn't be noisy. I think it might actually be the hub that’s creaking. I took off the hub body and greased everything up a bit better. Noise remains. Ugh.

I was correct. I happened, completely by happenstance I might add, to have the exact same wheel (ARC Dicut 1100). Installed the 12 speed cassette on it and… no noise. Ugh. At least I figured out what the problem is.LedZeppelin007 wrote:I think it might actually be the hub that’s creaking. I took off the hub body and greased everything up a bit better. Noise remains. Try putting a 0.5 or 1 mm spacer under the cassette. R2 bike are selling these for R8100/R9100 to alleviate creaking according to the product description.

Does it come with shimano 12spd cassettes?? It would be the minimum shimano would do if they acknowledge tolerances problems.bobones wrote: ↑Thu Jun 30, 2022 3:16 pmTry putting a 0.5 or 1 mm spacer under the cassette. Further examination shows a lesser creak with the other wheel as well. Ah well. I guess I’ll tell Daddy Canyon and see what they say.

No spacers were supplied with my R8100 11-34. However, I had to use a 1 mm spacer I had lying around to stop the cassette wobbling on one of my hubs. Another forum user with Shimano wheels and a similar wobble problem pointed out that Shimano produces these spacers for R8100/R9100, perhaps to counter tolerance issues with hubs discovered in the field.

Anyone have any visibility on the availability of the DA9200 derailleur cages ( part numbers Y3GK98040 / Y3GK98050)
I asked my LBS in the UK and they are saying not until Feb 23.
Trying to tune my ultegra and suspect the cages (and the jockey wheels account for most of the difference)
