Limited gearing choice is about to disappear in the u19 and u17 ranks. It's already the case in France.

I also just got some Praxis buzz chainrings, they are the new 10,11,12s variant, it appears they are 5g lighter than the old ones, so something has to be different

Carbon-Ti have just released the DA 12 speed specific X-Carboring EVO Chainring

Great news! Does anybody know whether they will also release a 5 arm BCD 110 version for e.g. Quarq PMs?
has anyone seen 50/34 in stock anywhere (5 Arm BCD EVO)

I just fitted ultegra on Rotor aldhu + power2max PM + absoluteblack 110bcd chainrings (50/34). Shifting is fine, zero issues

When tightened down 7nm it kicks out the cage and makes it hard to align correctly.

The support bolt is just touching, it's not forcing the cage tail out at all.
I would suggest loosening the support bolt so it is not visible, loosen the mounting bolt, cant the derailleur in as far as it will go, tighten to 6-7nm. At this point, the derailleur should still be canted inward such that tightening the support bolt will move the cage into proper alignment with the chainring. If that does not happen, you might consider 'polishing' the mounting face of the braze on mount so that the derailleur can be canted even further in towards the wheel.
Ok so took it back to the bike shop and they confirmed that this braze on mount requires the -19 setting or thereabouts in order to alight correctly.

If it's 0.2mm (If) per click that's 3.8mm adjustment from 0. That's a long way off design wise.

To me that says that the derailleur is mounted too far outboard with this particular braze on mount.

It's ok at the extreme setting but ideally you'd design it to be correct without setting to -19 on the 11-52 trim.

I can see a new mount for the FD in 2022 hopefully.
Just installed R9270 to my tarmac SL7 and have exactly the same situation like you described.
The FD is sitting too far outboard, thus had to bring chain guide plate all the way inboard to max -19 setting.

Even at this setting there is still a gap of ~2mm between FD outer chain guide plate and the chain when on the large chainring, ideally there should only be 0.5~1mm gap, I couldn't bring it any closer as -19 setting is maxed out, so I canted the guide plate tail inward, but the shifting from small to big is not very smooth, the chain "catches" a bit before climb up to the big chainring.

Pretty sure that the SL7 FD braze on mount needs to be updated for the new FD design.

Found these two in the pack. Anyone knows what are these for?

Edit: found out what they were after messing with other stuff. This is an embarrassing question that shouldn't have been posted. Sorry for wasting forum space.

Aren’t they the plugs that fit in the Di2 connections on the battery, you take them out to install the wires

Would adding a 1-2mm spacer on the drive side BB help?

well, chainline would be different from original intended design, which I guess would result in suboptimal shifting.
