Any early Hammerhead and Shimano 9200 users? Part of my normal routine with 9100 was to shift as the Karoo boots up and it would find the groupset. With 9200, that routine doesn't seam to work and have to un-pair, re-pair everytime. Any 9200 users find the right combo? Once it is connected, works great. Not sure if the same on Garmin.

My 530 has, in the last few months, started losing and gaining the Di2 connection pretty much every few minutes so god knows

Received an e-mail from Rose.de yesterday. They wanted to inform me that their supplier confirmed June 28, 2022 as expected date of my pre-ordered ULT 8100 crankset and rear derailleur  called them and they told me, that I am first in their queue for the crankset (172,5 / 36/52) and second for the RD... I hope they either correct the dates within the next weeks or r2 or some others really have some stock in December... :unbelievable:

If you read the details you see he doesn't have it. You are paying for it and he'll ship it to you when he gets it, whenever that may be.

That used to be a violation of Ebay's terms of service since it exceeds the normal time frames that services like PayPal allow for buyer protection. A quick review, and it looks like Ebay apparently now allows presale item so long as the seller fully discloses the conditions of the presale. More interesting is that the sellers shipping calculator estimates delivery on or before Dec 15, yet hasn't Shimano indicated the R9200P powermeter won't be available until mid-February next year?

Does anyone knows if there is comming a cassette that starts with a 14 cog? (Like previous ultegra 14-28)
The wife and I both use the Ultegra CS-R8000 14-28 cassettes, but we are niche users as this was primarlily targeted for junior racers under the age of 18 who are limited to 7.93 meters (26’) of development. I suspect that for 9200, instread of a the typical 52x14 combo requiring a dedicated cassette, Shimano is expecting juniors to pair smaller chainrings with the wider range cassettes.
Is that still a rule? I thought I heard about it ending around a decade ago. Always seemed weird to me. I've run the same gearing (39/53 11-23) since my first road bike when I was 16 and I'm 41 now. It's always felt perfect and everyone else's gearing I've tried has felt worse.
Also, the UCI doesn't limit the gearing a junior MTB or BMX racer can use.
Junior gearing is definitley still in force on the road side of things. Have a look at the recent Junior WC Road Races to see the boys and girls spinning their legs off.
Is there any science showing that's really healthier?

Jesus, wasn't both UL and DA due for release in October? Do you intend to wait this long or do you go for Sram?

My local Wilier LBS also told me that they were expecting R8100 to be available by June 2022. Only chance to get it before that is by ordering a complete bike. For R9200 it is possible to get it sooner but availability is limited groupsets/complete bike.

Another problem is that there are going to be nowhere near enough cassettes available relative to the still pitiful number of gruppos and complete bikes. It's also looking like they're going to be significantly short on the new BT-DN300 batteries, too ... so you may be able to get a gruppo - but you won't be able to power or ride it.

Wow those are some seriously bad yelp reviews. Not sure it will do any good, but I reported his listing to Ebay!

Maybe a dumb question but I could't find the weights of the groups anywhere. I mean total weight.
