Well, at least is not going to happen during the first day of the olympics.

Any new bet about the date?

Shimano developed an new material alloy unobtainium. So light that it can cause a bike to float on the road.

There was some rumors that it will be around the Vuelta a España, but to be honest it will make total sense to present it during the Olympics. :noidea:

Picture of built Focus with new DA fitted was posted by a Spanish or Latin American Shop and reposted in GC Performance Story on Instagram.

Deleted both couple of hours later.

I would like to have some traction on the road. I've always wondered how they rode the bike on ET.

Excited about the new Dura Ace, I think I am expecting the August September launch as it seems there are some pictures being leaked of it.

I have not bought a Dura Ace groupset since 7700

so no one took a local copy of the focus 12speed bike. i am surpised the power of the BIG S to clamp down on any leaked photos so late in the dev cycle.

I've run most versions of Ultegra since then but quite fancy Di2 and possibly as Dura-Ace this time around.

If the new Ultegra gets released around the same time and has the weight of the old dura ace, I'd definitely go for that one.

I'd suspect it will be the other way round. New DA weighting around the same as old Ultegra. This is what happened when Campy went to 12s.

there were reports on this thread before that the new DA is 200g lighter than the old one.
That would bring the new Ultagra into the ball park of the old DA

And if true it would take the new DA to a new segment in itself. kind of like "ultegra 12spd" would compete with red axs and the DA 12spd would have no match at all with a price to match of course :)

There is no way in hell it's going to get lighter.
