Light road Qr skewers: What's reasonable for racing purposes ?

I used mainly KCNC Z6 skewers for almost 10 years.
They are pretty toast now, the mecanism is used and they won't hold a wheel as well.
Although they served me well through those years they never "felt" very sturdy.

NOw shopping for new skewers I'll be using for every day use, training and racing.
I'm still on a rim brake bike with 100/130 mm QR skewers.
Where are we now with the latest QR brands and models ?
What's reasonably light and solid ?
I'd be happy with 70 g sets, not looking for the ultimately light (and unreasonably expensive...) choice.

I've had good luck with Zipp Ti aero skewers. They aren't the lightest (52g) but I figure that at least they are backed by a large company (Zipp / Sram). The cam is brass (no plastic). Even the stainless model comes in at 85g and is pretty cheap if you find it on sale. Every time I've found the Ti model on sale for around $40.

I think below 50gr starts to sacrifice performance with increased flex. Sure a 100gr set can clamp harder than a 50gr set but unless you're a 2000w sprinter I bet won't feel any difference.

I wouldn't go alloy or carbon rod.

Used Enve Ti. Then found DT Swiss RWS skewers in Ti version with Alu levers. Weights as Enve but work much better.

Enve skewers are quite pricey considering weight(62g), but no surprise about Enve Probably most overpriced bike wheels in the world.

I´m quite interested in those Lightweights, 67€ for solid steel 44g skewers is not that bad. Where can I order it, except LW shop?

Steel axle and 44gr is amazing. Is it hollow or butted? Must be...

Reminds me of the spoke dilemma. The lightest wheels still use steel spokes even though titanium is available. Interestingly with qr skewers titanium is more common among light offerings. Performance must be less of a problem.

For me these are not working. When sprinting even little bit harder (or pulling wheel with fingers sideway) rear QR will move little bit and rotate wheel. After that movement rear wheel feels loose and very unsafe. Don't know if it's the clamping system and carbon dropout combo. No affect how tight I clamp it. Haven't notice same kind of problem with old 42g Swsscomp or heavier FFWD titanium.

I have been looking orange colour QRs and those Tune AC 100/130 are on my list. Can anyone compare these AC to DC ones and is there how much difference on clamping force?

Instagram is marketing me JRC composites products and they have also orange QR option which I have been thinking. I know it's just same as those from ebay/Taiwan but price is almost same and they send from Ireland. Anyone tested these or have seen other metallic orange options below 60g?

Can confirm that the Lightweight skewers are good and are bang on weight advertised. Got three pairs but only use the Obermayer skewers as the are lighter by 12g. Unfortunately Lightweight don't make or sell them anymore, I've tried everywhere to purchase some.
There are other sellers of the Lightweight skewers but €67 is a good price.

I tried lots of types of cheap Ebay / Ali Ti QRs and for me they all sucked.

The best light ones I have are 2 sets of simpe but effective Farsports QRs (sub 50g) , but the shipping cost was prohibitive last time I checked. I never found identical ones elsewhere unfortunately.
