Rear derailleur hanger fitting issue?
Moderator: robbosmans
As I'm re-assembling my Moots, I notice the RD hanger doesn't seem to fit with the frame very well (see pics: https://imgur.com/a/XuwuPLC). Is this a problem in terms of durability and/or RD shifting? And would a new hanger fix the issue (assuming the hanger is the curlpit here)?

Involved in a crash or shipped the bike recently? I had a similar looking issue and bought a replacement hanger. No crash or shipment, and the area around the hanger and the dropout look clean - no sign of damage. I tried re-fitting the hanger but it seems that the curvature of the hanger and that of the dropout simply do not fit nicely, I wonder if it's a one-off mismade hanger in the first place..eric01 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 20, 2019 12:18 amInvolved in a crash or shipped the bike recently?
