Hey all,

Has anyone got any insight into the factor one bike? I've got an opportunity to snag a complete bike new with the factor integrated stem/bars and the black inc 50mm wheels with dura ace di2 for an awesome price (im talking only ~$2000aud more than the frame's RRP). I was initially looking at teammachine or izalco max for a new weekend/race bike with di2 and disc, but this deal now has factor as the best bang for buck.

https://factorbikes.com/one/

Thanks,
Papey

Very interested as well in experiences of this bike. The pros that rode factor always rode the O2 not the ONE. A comparison would be great if anyone can provide.

Not true, the One did get ridden by some of the AG2R guys on flat days. But let’s face it they’re not exactly a sprint train kinda team, so not surprising that the O2 saw more miles!

If I was the OP I’d double check that it is the new One not the original, as long as it is I’d go for it if the deals that good, it’s a stunning looking bike.

Yeah its definitely the current model. I'm torn because of the split down tube. I only just realised its literally got a gap running down the middle of it.

I've never thrown a leg over one, but I have seen one on the roads in London, and it looked amazing.

The guy on it was about 6'8", so it was a massive frame and still looked awesome. It was all blue with white decals.

He'd just picked it up that day so couldn't comment on it's ride really, but he was over the moon with it.

In my opinion, it’s the best looking frame on the market.

Haha really? Yep that’s pretty much the raison d’etre of the bike!

I considered the Factor One before buying the Madone SLR. My buddy is a sponsorer for AG2r team and offered me the Factor One chassis for $2900 ($100 more for disk) and carbon Black Inc. wheels for $900.

Bely seemed to enjoy his.

Got to admit it's on my radar versus the BMC Timemachine and SystemSix.

Oh dear... now I've got the Ventum NS1 to consider as well. Since when did buying a bike become like my wife's clothes shopping
