Why not Srams chainring? I ride 50/36 combo.
Bikes:

Ax Lightness Vial EVO Race (2019.01.03)
Open *UP* (2016.04.14)
Paduano Racing Fidia (kind of shelved)

Ex bike; Vial EVO D, Vial EVO Ultra, Scott Foil, Paduano ti bike.

Do you have the black 50t ring? Or the previous version, thicker plate, grey/black?

I ride rotor q-rings on my sram red22, but not sure if it would work if you only swap the large one. They have regular round rings as well. Lighter, than red22 rings.

Yes, it's black. I ordered 50/34, BB386 version + a separate 36T chainring.
Not really a light set though, 648 grams.
It's the hidden bolt version with exchangeable spider

Hello Ninja, I just swapped out my stock SRAM Red 22 rings for the AbsoluteBlack 50/34 rings. They mount using the stock SRAM bolts and am happy that they shift great (after tweaking the front derailleur set up).
This is my first time using oval rings and definetly like the improvement in my cadence and efficiency. They weigh about 8 grams heavier than my stock SRAM Red rings however the marginal weight is well worth the efficiency I am getting, definetly recomend the AbsoulteBlack oval rings and btw, they look sharp.

I've tried absolute black on my hologram crankset but I had some problems with Fd etap

If you have Etap, then I would go with Rotor NoQ rings. Oval ones are hard to get working perfect with etap.

Praxis give you the option of hidden or non hidden... they are built well and allow for great shifting with etap / di2
