considering a TCR. anyone know what's the widest tire and rim i can fit on the 2018/2019 TCR ADVANCED SL 0?
i'm running tubular wheelset, so wanted to make sure i have plenty of clearance. thanks~

sharing my experience on reynolds attack wheels
rear GP4 ii 28mm - lots of clearance
front GP4 ii 28mm - barely any, it'll rub if there's mud/dirt on the tire

Same here rear is 28 max for most tyres except conti, front 25 where conti will cause damage when gravel is on them.
Bike imho rides best with good 25 tyres (at the moment corsa graphene is on the reynols wheels)

There is already thread about that:

and some more pictures of 28mm tyres on TCR:

Bear in mind that Continental Grand Prix 4000 S II are 30+mm tyres... So some 28 tyres from other manufacturers would have bigger clearance...

I would mount 29mm max effective width tires only on my SL Disc. 28c GP4000S2 was too big and too close to the chain stay. Didn't bother to try the front fork.

thank you all for the comment. good to know there's options to run wider tires. :)
