I have the Superlogic one-bolt post on my HongFu FM079-F build with a Fizik Arione R1 saddle (7x9mm rails).

Anything in particular you want to know about it? Zero slipping or squeaking issues so far, though, I have to admit my mileage isn't anything to brag about. It all went together nicely and the cost wasn't outrageous compared to some options.
Hi Joe,

Are you sure the arione is 7x9 or is it 7x9.6mm?

potentially I am over thinking this, but i don't really want to break my mcfk saddle rails....

My fizik rails are actually 10.3 or so thanks to the cloth wrap. Aspide rails are 9.6, bare carbon. Should show there is flexibility in the system.
My gut feeling is that 9 will work too, but ofc its just a guess.

You are over-thinking this :)

As noted above, because of the wrap Fizik rails don't really measure what they claim (which is 7x9mm: https://www.fizik.com/us_en/arione-r1-regular.html)

Mine measure ~8.2 x 10mm but it's a non-issue with the design of the Ritchey clamp (and I'd hope other seat posts, too). It's tough to see in my pic but the clamps that are drawn tight by the single bolt ride on a taper such that as they are drawn in tighter horizontally they are also applying vertical force clamping to the rails. I can't say just how tolerant this design is but a saddle would need to be very poorly manufactured to not be safely clamp-able in a Ritchey one-bolt post.

ahaha joe..

I zoomed right in on your pic and I think i get what you are saying. Even though its a side clamp, it sort of still clamps from the top...

Did you follow your saddle reocmmendation on torque or did you use the ritchey recommendation? (sorry for all the questions!)

I torqued until it felt solid using feel. I own several torque wrenches but at my fairly low weight (~67 kg) I'm not as concerned as some may be about a saddle slipping. Having torqued to Ritchey's specs before, I felt all that extra torque would be unnecessary in my case, and that has proven true so far.

Superlogic with an SLR Kit Carbonio, precisely 0 issues. One of the best posts and clamp systems out there
Hi Zakalwe, do you know if the SLR Carbonio has 7x9 or 7x9.6 rails? I had a quick google and it seems to depend on the which year the saddle was from?
Mine has 7x9 rails

Cool - thanks for the help peoples.

Just need to find a place that stocks hte 7x9 clamp for carbon posts (that doesn't charge more than the clamp itself for shipping.
